    Hey thanks for the heads up. I ordered Repugnus and then I checked to see if Punch/Counterpunch was back up for pre-order and he was! So I grabbed him too. :D

    ...i was waiting for blast off preorders to go live, but finally flinched on the risk that repugnus and counterpunch might sell out and pulled the trigger anyway: guess i'll have to find something else to push blastoff over to free shipping instead...

    You are confusing it and the Shambling Mound, I think. :)  The Umber Hulk was always an insect-headed gorilla, the 1E one looks hilarious.

    Never say never but, right now it looks slim. It'll likely stay an online exclusive unless it gets a re-release in another Transformers line in the future.

    I think there's a higher chance of it hitting retail now more than ever. Just not big brick&mortar retail like Target or Walmart.

    Gamestop has been putting its feet into collectibles, and I could see them carry these easily. They just got the rest of the Bandai Legacy Zeo Rangers. They have exclusive Hasbro Marvel Legends figures. One of the gamestops near me has SDCC Mattel exclusives and old Matty Collector products including the ghostbuster removable pack 2packs and the 60s Batman utility belt.

    These 3 toys are tailor made for gamestop to pick them up.

    we do not know, so far amazon is the only usa based store to put them up. they are available other places that operate out of countries other than the usa though

    I wouldn't be shocked if they are Amazon-exclusive in the USA, but there's been nothing that has said so yet.

    I guess your right. Just for the hell of it, I googled Umber Hulk for Images and theres some that look, pretty much like Repugnus. I think your right dude..I think someone seen an umber hulk and thats what he is. I wonder if one of the designers was a huge D&D fan, and some of these crazy WTF is that, beasts weve seen..just needed to be referenced to the D&D Monster manual.

    If you have the manual..shit...look for grotusque..some of the crazy con beasts from back then..mabye youll be the 1st to discover a connection. I mean, if your going to design a "Monster" toy, its pretty freakin slim chance your going to come up with repugnus, and not have seen a pic of an Umber Hulk...back then they didnt have google..mabye some of the design inspiration came from the next biggest cult print out there..the D&D books. Possible? highly possible. back then you just didnt have a ton of media like we have now. you either had to go to a library, buy a book, see it out in the wild, or do what they did for the monster manual and just rip off every mythical creature humans ever talked about...The bug head for repugnus just never made sense unless he was all insect I guess.

    I think your right..mabye the shambling mound is what im thinking of..some of the art in the 1st edition manual was kinda weak, some was GREAT. I wonder if it would get cheesy though..you could say "Dragonstorm from TLK is a Tiamet!" ...wha? " no ^%$#er..its just a 3 headed dragon.." lmao..
