TFCToys Poseidon combiner (Piranacon)

 

I haven't heard any news since I last refreshed the page 3 minutes ago. Dead project.

 

Dude we got some prototypes of the last three figures at tfcon. Is that dead?

Sarcasm gets confusing. I feel you need to use blue text if you’re not obvious enough cause if it’s fine then it’s just insulting your intelligence.

 

I’ve seen people use all of them although they mostly use the first one.

Have we seen pics of what Superion's partsforming bits look like in whatever battlestation mode it has? (I am correct in assuming he partsforms like Bruticus, right?)

 

He does but no, nothing shown yet. I don't think we'll see anything until Onslaught is done, dusted and out tbh.

 

He’s got a lot of partsforming. Silverbolt only forms the back of superion.

 

I won't mind the partsforming if it's a bit more "streamlined" than their Combaticons'. A stationary weapons platform fits them, but I think some sort of aerial drone or something would be better for the Aerialbots. I'm not expecting much from it, but I just hope it isn't something really lazy. Superion is one of the few Gestalts I actually like as much as the independent robots, (Ironic considering it's their whole gimmick, but I generally prefer the teams themselves to their combined forms) so it'd be harder to ignore it than with most other Gestalts.

Either way, these guys look to be so awesome on their own I'd probably be on board even if they didn't combine, so I can probably overlook some ugly partsforming.

 

I still can't believe ppl would prefer unstable wonky proportions over a few extra parts to improve the overall figure.

Transformers fans are an odd bunch.

Hopefully they'll announce a date for when they'll release the rest of the team. Hopefully that'll be somewhat soon, since they're showing off the prototypes.

 

Id assume one of the limbs or silverbolt will be out around a month or two after blitzkrieg drops based on the gaps between each combaticon

 

Yes we are. My favorite thing about the fandom is how I've spent most of my life with almost zero people in my life who appreciate Transformers, especially G1, and then I come onto a website just full of those people. I get a nice feeling of camaraderie and solidarity and then we all immediately start fighting about accuracy, scale, official vs 3p, and whether or not chrome is a good thing. I've found my people and now I must destroy them!!!

It's understandable for people to get a bit defensive or offensive over something they're passionate about. Sometimes it can just get a bit out of hand, especially, ..especially on the internet.
