Would be nice if we got HQ image or render of the jet
Not sure if @Red Goblin could do it.

To be honest my only personal gripe is the lack of accessories. I wouldn't even say MPM Optimus lacks parts but aside from his qc/design issues one small gripe I have with him is that they didn't just include a set of hooks and an extra gun at the very least and I might not have expected AS much had the G1 line not started coming with as many accessories as it now does.
I feel as far as the figures themselves go they don't feel like they've been restricted at all to me. I don't have Barricade but at least with Bumblebee his transformation is intricate but still fun and I wouldn't even say it's THAT much simpler Sunstreaker. If anything Sunstreaker and Megatron are more of a new step in the line to begin with as no other figure since maybe MP9 has been as complex and detailed. All in all if budget is a constraint then it's clearly constraining the accessories and not the figure's design. Bumblebee and Optimus at least both feature die cast in them and the paint doesn't feel particularly lacking (hasbro Optimus is missing some apps but eh). Can't comment on Barricade but I've no doubt that he's the same way.

That might be a while considering how huge he is.
It kind of feels like a not-so-subtle attempt at throwing off on non-G1 Masterpieces.
You are one of my favorite people now. :D  :p  :lol
Well, Optimus Prime is 28 feet tall in the movies, and Megatron was 35 feet tall in the first trilogy movies. So...he'll be noticeably taller. :lol
Actually, there was a thread started some time ago about this very subject:
Do you think 3rd Party TFs are dangerous/toxic?
The only thing I can think of that MPM-05 Barricade doesn't have is Frenzy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro/Takara looked back on the voyager/leader TLK Megatron figures as a starting point for MPM Megatron in terms of engineering, especially for how they deal with integrating the wings into the body mass.

I read once that the paints they use even on mainline toys are toxic as a liquid but perfectly safe when dry. Take it with a grain of salt, I forget where I read it and which countries it was referring to...
I'm actually hyper health aware now after battling had issues for over a year. I don't eat dairy, gluten, sugar, or anything artificial. Always try to go with organic and non-GMO. I've done cleanses and taken natural supplements. I feel the best I every have on my entire life. Lost weight, got off my depression meds, etc. So I know where you're coming from!

I've heard from someone that lived near the toy factories that the materials used to make toys can be very toxic.

Hopefully the future MPM's won't deteriorate over time. The less soft plastic, the better. Soft plastic can break down and melt plastic it gets in contact with over time, depending on the grade.

The materials and proccess of the making of most of our products are quite toxic, not just in toys, however, the final result of that proccess, wich it's the toy, it's not toxic at all, because the materials aren't active.

As long as we don't eat or lick a melted bit of paint or plastic, we're all safe.

    It's just like Mc Donalds.

So as long as we don't eat or lick McDonald's, we'll be fine?

Reminds me of reports of strong smells emanating from DX9 Gabriel's plastic. Probably a mold release agent that didn't get cleaned off before assembly. I don't recall such smells with HasTak figures in recent memory aside from softer gummier plastic like the Robot Replicas line.
