Also, people are constantly complaining about repaints, but go off I guess.

Yea, had target do that with me a few times. Was grabbing the 25th Ann Joes for my cousin back in the day and they insisted that a new wave must have been clearanced out of the system (charging me about 45 cents each) and later with Sky Lynx. The later I “argued” with the front end supervisor that the price was $24.99 when she insisted that it was clearances out of the system and could sell it to me for $10. After telling her twice that it was $24.99, I decided that I wasn’t going to continue to tell her to charge me more and took my $10 sky lynx.

Just forget i said anything. I never liked the design direction they took with the CW/TR/POP series and i'm just blowing off steam.

The design direction for those series is a good thing IMO. Personally, I never liked the movie line continually repainting the same Optimus Prime and Bumblebee molds over and over with barely any changes each time. Those were the worst examples of repaints to me. At least the Prime trilogy gives us different characters when it comes to repaints.

Never said that's a good thing, I also share your disdain for those figures. But the movie line had some awesome designs for some of the offscreen transformers, albeit mostly in the RotF series. I also think the figures were much less "hollow". Even with all of their freaking repaints, the movie line features more interesting designs and transformations than the IDW line, while the only thing that's kind of good about CW, TR and POP is that the transformers just look more like their cartoon version.
