I’m only really interested in 3P Legends, but I would like to see what’s up with Slipstream, even if Boulder Media outputs something similar to Machinima.

I doubt I’ll buy anything from Hasbro, but I’m still curious to see what they make of her, assuming she does get a figure... probably remolded from Windblade.

Until then, I’m just gunna wait patiently for Iron Factory’s Shrike’s Feather.

Okay, now that there are Toys out, we should wait for some Video Reviews before condemning an entire line.

Are these just repackaged figures?  It looks that way.  They didn\'t even bother to try to repaint them.  Hopefully they don\'t try to up the price on these, otherwise it is just sad that they will do that.

I mean, there were several internationally licensed releases of Takara's Diaclone and Micro Change toys besides Hasbro's "Transformers". Takara themselves released "Diaclone" in Finland and "Diakron" in the United States, Joustra had "Diaclone" in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, and GiG had "Trasformer" in Italy. There was a reason why Hasbro's version quickly eclipsed them all, and it sure wasn't the toys, those were largely the same.

No snark I honestly cant tell the different classes from which in the link to the archives... they aren't really divided up by size.

I would get some Legion sized stuff, we play with those in our Tomika and Hot wheels scale world, I would also like to get some main characters in the CW/TR/POTP Legends size... think CW Shockwave. As sometime I play that size scale would like some mains sprinkled in ... not really concerned with them being the most prestigious versions... just some bots to kick around on the citybots with TR Bumblebee, Brawn, 30 Insecticons...

Now If they have passable Deluxe ( Warrior?) class versions of Bee, Shockwave, and so on... hell I might get a few there as well. I like options for playing different scales. Sometimes Bee is a lil guy ... sometimes everyones the same size... this goes for megs Screamer, op... Shockwave.

If you go toe to toe with price point:

$4 Gobot is generally superior to $4 Minicar.

$8 Super Gobot is generally inferior to $8 Autobot car.

Anyone who says otherwise hasn't been able to hold them in hand and make a knowledgeable and accurate comparison...and I suggest going out and purchasing some old Gobots in decent condition to verify it. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Really, as AA says, it came down to who had the better marketing.

These aren't for me. I'll happily let the little 'uns play with these.

I just hope that HasTak doesn't realize that CHUG lines are also primarily for kids and implement the same build techniques.

The G1 toys with articulation are better than the line with actual effort and love put into it.

Given the nonsense that happens on this site I'm not even surprised.

I can't wait to see the existence of this line blamed when you cant find collector product at stores. Meanwhile the actual culprit of ignorant retailers (with particular blame to Walmart holding the line hostage whilst also refusing to stock it) skates on by.

Cue the 'Fucking Hasblooooowwwwww! Takara obviously wouldn’t have anything to do with these baby toys'

Hasbro could have revealed this stuff to us. It's out but we have no idea what it looks, except chancers are it looks bad and cost cut to hell. Still why are they sleeping on making a reveal, must be some kind of "straight to dvd release". :lol

To this day, Hasbro still hasnt said anything about Hot Rod and Cogman never being released at retail here in the States.

It is a very damning indictment and they need to be asked about it at Hascon.

So the person who found them didn’t buy them and take pictures?
