I finally got it extended thanks for the useful tips everyone.

 

I finally did get around to transformation:

That's a nice looking set. I wish I liked their Onslaught more.

 

Even slowly pulling the "abdomen" part made me nervous cause I could feel the stress pulling at the waist when there's so little area to grip. Loosening the screws slightly made it easily pull out without a dramatic loosening of the unit. Better safe than break the legs off I think. Also unscrewing things was very easy

 

Nice getting Vortex on a flight stand.
UT didn't gave us any flight stand for Vortex and Blast off, feels cheap UT.

Do you think UT will sell any of those cockpit pieces separately? I would buy an extra one.

How were you able to get 2 identical cockpits for Blast Off/Bruticus' chestplate?

 

He said it before that he was lucky.
Blast off had one on and one with the instructions.

Starscream is lucky too.
We don't see any Menasor here.
Megatron haven't finished building them yet.
He asked XTB and DX9 to make some cool cars, but it got delayed.

 

Yeah I just luckily got an extra cockpit piece in the box. Got two sets of Bruticus eyes too! (I already gave one set away to a fellow collector who got none). I consider it good karma for having to buy a second brawl after my first broke twice and no replacement parts were available...

 

How can Brawl break?
On what parts?

 

One of his knee swivels broke during transformation ( be very careful with the knees on all these figures as the plastic inside the joint is soft and bendy) and one of his arms broke off when he fell from about 3 feet onto the floor.

 

Ok. Cool. That sucks that UT or the seller couldn't provide replacement parts.

 

Yeah TFSource tried but couldn’t get any I guess. It was about 6 + months after purchase...

 

6 months? Geez.
I think going forward I'll stay away from any MP combiners from UT.

 

Interesting, as my random eBay seller I'd never used before was able to get me a full replacement hip set for my damaged Kalecgos...

 

Makes me nervous as to what the dx9 stunticons are going to turn out like tbh, both sides of the company seem to be struggling at the mo.
