I agree that would probably help the most, but I also think the whole upper torso above the waist needs to go forward just a bit because as it is now, the crotch protrudes nearly as much as his chest.

 

I think his arms are too long too, like worse than MP10.

 

This is my biggest issue. Looks really good regardless.

I'm sure its needed for transformation but yeah, arms do look too long.

 

I sad the same thing earlier. I just don't understand why they insist on doing that when there is a simple solution to clean that up?

I didn't play with my G1 Blurr either. Although I had lost mine thru theft not long after getting it. He was as stiff as a board, even for a G1 toy. And the proportions were dreadful. Yet, he still looked pretty cool to me. I don't know if I am in for this FT release. I do know that UT Buzzing fits the bill for MP blur perfectly for me. Either way, UT Buzzing is a keeper in my MP collection.

Damn, I think after the Rouge ‘debacle’ (and understand that’s a relative term), FT might lick their wounds a bit and wouldn’t be surprised in the least if they feed off re-issues and maybe one new release (their Sixshot or Mindwipe) while they kinda get their shit together for a late yr. ‘X-Mas/let’s get in our factory time before CNY’ push ... I was really hoping they could up their new figure release count this yr but it feels a lot like 2016 with TT

Yup. I can't see past it at the moment and it makes no sense. Best to do the style of mp cars and have the thigh swivel at the upper leg just below the hips. We don't need 360 degree rotation for the sake of breaking the mould but they keep doing it.

Regards crotch it's accurate. Ppl just need to get over their own insecurities lol

 

Its the thickness of the crotchplate that I have a problem with,not the size or shape,if they could reduce the depth in the front by 25% or 30% it would greatly be an improvement.Also what others are saying about the thigh lines that doesn't bother me at all since it gives the figure more articulation which is always a good thing.

 

I'm not loving this design. My biggest complaint is the disappearing section above the thigh... the crotch piece is just floating at his midsection. The "head on a stick" thing bothers me too.

The legs aren't 100% accurate, but it doesn't bother me. In nearly every picture the arms are posed in a way that we don't see how long they are.... but that's forgivable too. The plate over his crotch is massively thick... which wouldn't be so bad, except that there's no associated hipskirt.

 

Yup. Hes gonna have a boner in pretty much any dynamic pose you stick him in. A real shame. Seems people are getting away from using front flaps these days. He def needs them. He looks stupid without them. Won't be able to put him in any good looking running poses.

 

The length of his arms when extended looks to match that animation artwork almost exactly, coming to just above the knee guard. So they might be gorilla arms but it seems they're correct to the source material.

Keeping tabs on the biggest complaints: Gorilla arms, no pointable index finger, hard cut thigh swivels instead of hiding them in the hip joint, crotchplate is too thick sticks too far off the front of the box, missing side skirts.

 

Eh, I'll take him as is ... and then I need a new Rodimus too
