Next on the list of wave two Studio Series figures is Jazz!

I wasn't sure what to make of Jazz from photos and videos I'd seen floating around, but in hand he's a delight! He's very well articulated, which makes him very expressive. Which, in my opinion, is kind of important for a character with a name like "Jazz". And yeah, elephant in the room, he's small. Smaller than most deluxes. But honestly? I'm not bothered by it one bit. It works for the character, especially with Studio Series' scale in mind. Plus, he's done up almost completely in lovely silver paint

And what's not to love about that Pontiac mode? Gorgeous. I think the only thing this figure is really missing is a waist swivel, but he doesn't absolutely need it. He does have ankle tilts though. Weird ankle tilts, but ankle tilts all the same. If you can get over the deluxe price point for these Studio Series figures (or better yet, find him on sale), Jazz is absolutely worth it!

Not sure what figure you mean specifically by the "normal" Hound, but if you're talking about the TLK voyager, Stinger comes to a little above his waist, while Jazz is just at his waist. I'm afraid I don't have Bumblebee to compare

I love this guy to bits, he is just perfect!
He actually made me get rid of the Human alliance series I have and restart a collection in a smaller scale as I have always wanted.

You are right, I need to be more precise, I meant AOE Voyager Hound, I am torn to see if I should track down an Hasbro version or if I need a Oversized Ko Hound to customize and display with SS Stinger, Bee and Jazz

Local retailers in my country have started selling the TLK turbo changers at a discount, and started packing two packs for the price of one. so I picked up two sets and damn, I'm addicted.

Is there anyone who could possibly get us a side by side shot of SS Megatron and the TLK Voyager Megs? I'm aware the TLK version is 30 feet tall as opposed to the 35 he was for the first 3 movies so I'd like to see if that translates to the toys.

EDIT: Found a good comparison in Emgo's review. What do you guys think? I think this actually works pretty well. Should I hunt down a voyager TLK Megs? I've heard he's great fun.

One thing I forgot to mention about Jazz in my last post was that, due to the nature of his transformation, some paint has started to chip on the hood of the car mode. It's very minor so far, but something worth watching out for

TLK Megatron is absolutely worth hunting down. He's a really fun figure, full of articulation, and a really good representation of the ILM character model. I think you can get him for pretty cheap these days on Amazon too

Unfortunately, I do not. However, he is perfectly eye to eye with Leader TLK Megatron.

Who knows there could possibly be a masterpiece revealed and im sure it would be better than the leader. That’s why I’m kind of kicking myself a bit due to me thinking straight after I bought him that an mpm starscream would be announced. But hey he’s still damn impressive

Looking forward to picking up SS Jazz, and I've got a question. The Human Alliance Jazz had the ability to flip up his visor and reveal his eyes. Even though the visor on the SS one is apart of the sculpt, did Hasbro at least sculpt his eyes under the visor of the Studio Series version?

I have a picture request. Sorry if someone already posted this but could someone with Studio Series Jazz take a picture of him with Sidearm Sideswipe and/or Alien Attack Firage?

I know he's small but I really want a new Jazz for my collection and just want to see how tiny he would be with those two.
