You gotta wonder how they will eliminate the eyesore TLK OP's backpack.
Or just make it as a shield like what they did to Calibur Prime?

I've always thought that after ROTF he lost some mass based on the balcony scene in DOTM where he and Sentinel looked to be the same height.

I was totally with you until you name-checked this piece of garbage.
I hate shield kibble. It's the laziest and most annoying way to deal with it. 3P companies (especially if you look at Unique Toys) have learned how to deal with kibble a lot better and HasTak should definitely be taking a look at what they do. Basically they need to perfect inside-out-formers, and have every piece of kibble have real 3D sculpted robot details on the back side.

I’ve had Ratchet a while now and his backpack isn’t really all that bad. I only notice it when I go to pick him up to transform.

Could any of those lucky folks with Ironhide take some pics of him next to TLK Hound in both modes please?

Another modern Bee?? *sigh* It sucks that we only got one vintage Camaro Bee and it falls apart when you look at it.

Including the upcoming film looks, there are NINE live action Bumblebee designs so far. I think having just one toy of each is enough. In theory. Your valid point that the one we just got falls apart makes me wish we had a better one.

Shouldn't Ironhide have those grill things on the side of the hood in both sides?

Edit: I just found out that the truck mode has the grill on only the right side, but in bot mode he has them on both sides:confused:

It has the unnecessary autobot symbol to try to imitate the vent for bot mode, while still being accurate (molded details wise) in alt mode?

In all likelihood, it was way easier to mirror the 3D mesh, and nobody realized (or cared) that the truck only had one vent.

Chalk it up to one of those random design oddities (like for example, how Lockdown has 2/3rds of a Lamborghini emblem on each side of his chest) that nobody would actually notice without flipping through and freeze-framing every moment of robot action.

    yeah, same as the mpm
Yeah, there are loads of those little quirks in the designs. Like Bugatti parts that were present on Drift's concept art being removed on the actual CG model, but they turn up on his TLK design. Though Lockdown did only have a half a badge on each side of his chest; you can clearly read LAMBO on one RGHINI on the other. It's just the way the central part has curves coming out that causes the illusion of each half curving back up.

Well that's the date for the main gimmick Bumblebee line. But the date for this particular figure is 28 September so it's not way before the other stuff comes out really,

He's not even made of plastic! It's just paint splotches taped together! Never again, Hasbro. -10/10 Wouldn't do again.

Speaking of if a SS AOE/TLK Optimus could even be a thing, I won't mind a re-release of the TLK Voyager mold with some tweaks like remold the arms to include wrist swivel and giving the mold a fully screen accurate paintjob; That said, I would prefer that a completely new mold being made for a SS AOE/TLK Optimus Prime.

He is for sure the worst figure I've ever had. Perpetually stuck in robot mode, cannons constantly falling off and the tape is starting to peel so the paint splotches are separating.
    Presenting:

    What a mess!
