All kidding aside, really curious about this special project of Hasbro's.

    I have 3 guesses:
    - Micro Masters
    - Duocons
    - Target Masters

Will there be 5-member combiner team?
    - Well they haven't release a True Liokaiser yet
    - At some point they need to milk Dinobots into Dinoking

Will there be Evolution Leader Class figure?
    - For me, it's time to bring in Star Saber. The Evolution gimmick fits him (it's time to milk the gimmick).
1.) Titan Master >>> Brain Master
2.) Deluxe Transtector body >>> Saber
    3.) Leader Shell >>> V-Star mobile platform

Will there be Titan Class figure?
    - I don't mind a modern Titan Unicron, Primus or the highly possible SCORPONOK

Will there be Micromaster Battle Stations?
    - Well I'll not be surprise if the Leader Class figures turned into Battle Stations as well like Titans Return did.

It's great that they acknowledge us but the best of the best and the decision s that matter most to me come from TT. I'm still curious what this is.

Because it's nothing I'm interested in or will pay $100+ for exclusively. And the panel's have been a typical let down most years lately so no hype there. Am I lying?

Yep. People from Hasbro and Paramount regularly visit our boards here. They don't tell us when and how but they do. Mostly to take feedback from various releases including toys and trailers. It has been so since the very beginning. Some even leave feedback here to the fans. But most just keep quiet. It's better that way. :)

YoungPrime, I think it's because we now know too much. Back then we don't get this many listings and leaks from Weibo. Best example was for Titans Return and Studio Series where entire waves got leaked... with images and release schedules. Last year, all the official reveals were uninteresting because we knew all the info already. Sometimes, months in advance. Therefore we can't really blame official parties, in my opinion.

Yeah, when waves 1-3 of PotP were posted in G1 catalog-like form in early 2017, everything Hasbro had to reveal later that year was somewhat of a let down as it was everything we'd already seen. Even when the catalog was removed, it was up for around 24 hours and that's more than enough time for folks to copy images and continue sharing behind closed doors.

At least with Titans Return, we saw leaks in waves. And there was always Takara's Legends take on the figures to anticipate through the year. PotP leaks was one Megatron-style blast of leaks with nothing coming from TT.

Then if you're listening Hasbro, release a quality set of REFLECTOR at retail already! It's been 35+ years now... And at this point make them combine to be US Drones or Satellites if being a camera has you that wary. Just as long as they keep their G1 Bot image.

I disagree. SDCC Panels only reveal a wave in a half (maybe) of upcoming content. Last year SDCC revealed Jazz, Starscream, Rodimus, Dreadwing, Beachcomber and some of those little Duplo Block Master's. I wasn't already aware of any of those figures till that point but what was disappointing about the panel for me was that Beachcomber and Rodimus (from his first viewing) were the best looking ones. Starscream had standout Popeye arms, Dreadwing was just alright as fodder and I didn't need that MAGA Jazz.

To be fair and positive, Hasbro releasing all 3 Phase Sixer's back to back during the previous line was proof that someone there was actually listening to us for a change.... Only to start this this current line with characters who's quality was compromised thanks to crappy gimmicks (I haven't bought a single Leader class figure this year with no plans to unless Rodimus pops up on clearance for 50% off).

So no it's not because I was already aware. It's because most of what we got was Meh at best and quality is getting worse for the larger figures IMO.

An early spoiler isn't the same as being flat out disappointed with what was confirmed. I'd still be excited if all of the Leader class figures weren't hollowed out crap compromised but gimmicks that no one asked for. No needed Grimlock, Elita, Starscream or Inferno to be mediocre, reused combiner torso's either.

That was my disappointment... Not that it was revealed sooner than expected.

You know...I could get in on them being spy satellite. It's a much needed update that would still fulfill the same function as the out of date camera.

Bonus points if the three individual bots have a small shuttle mode unto themselves....they gotta get up in space somehow.

Yeah, granted they'll argue that they already gave us a camera Reflector via T30 Scrapnel as a bone. But they know what we wan't.

Isn't that Unicron and Megatron in the background of the image, all G1 cartoon style? Or that's just inside packaging for Masterpieces?

It's weird to assume otherwise anyway. Many younger fans from how long transformers has been around were inspired to go to school to get jobs at hasbro or Takara. Like for example the Takara employee that designed that fan made Arcee kit from years back, to eventually being the exact designer that designed thrilling 30 Arcee. Eventually those kids/fans grow up and pursue their dreams to work for the franchise that inspired them. And in all that time, many of them would have probably used fan boards of various sites because of being a fan.

Not much different than Marvel or DC writers of today were once fans of yesteryear that grew up reading those same comics that inspired them to pursue those dreams. There are tons of stories like that attached to many of the franchises that are popular today. All of it starting because fans were inspired and pursued their dreams to reach those jobs to contribute to a property they loved and inspired them to hopefully help that property inspire the next generation to pursue it too.

Better yet. "Studio Series:1984". Re-do ALL of the 1984 cast in premium molds. Get the car licensing. Make everyone to scale. The works! I'll pay the extra $5-10/figure. I know many others who would too.
