"Black Cliffjumper" - sounds like a great 70s exploitation flick! :D

I see this (and XTB's) version as a perfect example of Shogo Hasui's MP-10 philosophy of taking the best of "realistic, cartoon, and memory" to make something that "feels" right, without being slavish to only one reference. I like it!

Which reminds me of my favorite Black Dynamite scene:

Anyway, the hip/waist interaction is hindered by design oversight on this figure. You can either lift his leg forward or rotate his waist. For a figure they went out of the way to put shoulder butterflies and an ab crunch on, this seems poorly thought out.

While not a reason to avoid the buy, it is something that should've been caught and corrected before the figure was released.

Also, do yourself a favor and pop the steering wheel free of the dash if you're going to leave him in bot mode. It hinders the backward pivot of the lower torso.

I'm in the camp of bb's chibi penny racer is easily recognizable as a vw beetle, so the TT MP is not a goof. Where as cj's chibi penny racer is not so easily identifiable, thus the MP can be whatever vehicle closely resembles the toon. Just make the damn MP already TT, it doesn't have to be a licensed real vehicle, since we can't tell what the hell it's supposed to be anyways!

Does anyone still want this, that couldn’t get their order in? I’m kinda finding that it doesn’t fit into my collection the way I want it to, so I ended up packing him back up.

The face is what utterly kills this for me. Not even the wide chest, not even the tiny waist, just the face. So close, yet so far MMC.

I don't know why, outside of the background previous pictures we've seen is maybe hiding it better but that neck looks too long or the head is too small. What doesn't help that area is you have a gap that runs along there behind his head. I'm surprised no one like DX9's Gabriel aren't using the idea of lifting the head to give you the additional articulation for looking up and down. Cartoon cheated too much where the head sat flat and had no neck.

No surprise to see on the paint apps on the head. MMC seems to be struggling there, which is odd because I just saw Collisus yesterday and he looked pretty sharp in hand. All the cassettes are not so much.

Got my Stealth ops Hellion last night. He looks great. I really like the transformation and how he cleans up. The waist is a slight concern, but overall, a great figure. Will definitely consider this one for my MP Cliffjumper once he comes out!

That's a good size. I think that Cliffjumper should be slightly taller than Bee.

The head is actually on an articulated arm so you can adjust the height depending on your preference.

The head is actually attached to a sliding joint inside the upper torso too, in addition to the neck armature. Some of the older photos had him mis-transformed.

So it can go all the way flush to his lower body if you want?

Thanks for taking these pics!!! I went back 4-5 pages and it seemed like none had anything different with the neck extended or reduced so good to know there are options with that. Still prefer a flush, like he has no neck but this will do.

Was the head extremely tight to the peg on yours? I was all askeert I was going to break the mushroom the neck attaches to.

Also, I like how your images show just how narrow the chest actually is.

Thanks! I’ve never run into a problem removing the head, it’s on a smooth peg, it’s tight but not too tight. Putting it back on is more challenging but I’ve never felt like it was in danger of breaking.
