That would be me. lol. I'll start prototyping next week after I get back from a business trip so that the chest can be mostly done in preparation for Onslaught.

 

I am so excited to finish the set and get the bots in combined mode. I was debating on adding the UT bots but after the last two and all the reports of breakage I said forget it. Maybe the next 3rd party will get it better. The zeta bots are kibbletastic but so solid in bot and alt mode. I still prefer brawl out of the group.

Interesting. I hadn't noticed their calendar before. According to them, DX9 is releasing Montana on the 28th. (At this point I'll believe it when I see it). GT isn't releasing Copter until 7/31? Argh.

 

Then we just need to color match the feet and paint the thighs grey. Gonna look amazing!

 

This is exactly what I'm leaning towards, I've seen videos of UT's Bruticus and it's wobbly & leans forward. I also don't like the 18" instead of 20" like Zeta's. Don't like the color scheme of Blast Off and don't like how high Bruticus' shoulders are.

There's some things about Zeta's Bruticus that I don't like (mainly Swindle being reversed as a leg), but, it's starting to be one of those "lesser evils" things.

 

Swindle isn't reversed, it's cartoon accurate to a degree

 

Swindle has always managed to look like a blob in combiner mode anyway.

 

The tires are in the front, usually they're in the back. I go by the comic as well as the cartoon.

 

Look, if you're going to go by the cartoon you might as well complain that Vortex didn't grow large, folded-up wings and that half of Brawl's tank doesn't just disappear.

 

Zeta/ Toyworld tend to lean toward the toy designs. The toy had Swindle with the underside facing the front. You often see Brawl both ways. This is also why Blast Off attaches from the top instead of underneath.

 

Calm down, it's not a huge big deal, I'd just prefer if the tires were in the back (just used to it that way), it's something I can get used to & live with.

I know UT's is aimed more at the cartoon look (or was until last 2) and Zeta's more of the toy. Why I was leaning towards UT's, but I've been changing my mind. Hoping someone makes some add on adjustments for him (Zeta's) to look more cartoony.

 

Screw all the companies, this is the Bruticus I want! Short, fat and full of type 2 diabetes!

 

I'm plenty calm. I just find it amusing that of all the difference between Armageddon and Bruticus's animation model that the thing that's bugging you is where Swindle's tires end up. And technically only his rear tires, since the front tires fold over like the G1 toy.
