Well that show was definitely something. Wouldn’t call it awful. But it was not even close to great. Especially after watching NXT the night before.

That’s one of the main reasons why I’ve stopped watching WWE for the past month or do.

I have no idea what the WWE is doing with their booking.

Burying Shinsuke, Asia, their indecisiveness of Roman’s booking etc.

In the past, I was so looking forward to AJ vs Shinsuke (thanks to their Wrestle Kingdom match) but somehow WWE made me lose interest in their matches! XD

I just read that after last week that Shinsuke may start feuding with Jeff over the US Title.

Right now she’s tied for number one on my s—t list, alongside Carmella.

I almost never wish harm on anyone but right now I am seriously hoping they suffer real bad career-ending injuries.

After reading the results from you guys, i didn't miss much if not any. I'm glad i didn't invest for the month. I've not watched wwe raw in about 2 weeks anyway. I'm just burnt on wrestling right now so Monday nights and ppvs will be taking a backseat for awhile. Just keep me updated if anything gets really interesting to watch like bobby lashley destroying brock lesnar in a mma fight on wwe.

I know that Alexa getting MITB is an unpopular choice, but when I thought about it, it makes sense.
It allows Nia to go back to being the babyface character that got her over, and Rousey can feud with a true heel.
Of course, having Nattie win it would have opened up many more creative possibilities, but this is WWE, where all too often the best choice is shoved to the wayside just to swerve the internet smarks.

On the other side of things...Strowman did NOT need the briefcase. He's going to be hovering around the world title picture whether he has it or not. I read about the possibility of New Day using the Freebird rule with the briefcase, which would have been AWESOME, not knowing which member was going to cash it in. Kofi deserves a title run, after his exceptional body of work over the years.

The new start time for the PPV annoys me because I work Sundays, and now they'll start 30 minutes before my workday ends, rather than 15 minutes after I get home. On a positive note, the two matches I missed (Bryan/Cass and Zayn/Lashley) are the ones I didn't really care about.

I really wanted to see Elias win the IC belt. He's convinced me to walk with him for a few months now, and I hope to see gold in his future.

I actually felt bad for both Roman and Jinder while listening to the audience just crap all over them both from beginning to end. They really should have cut the match time of that one down too.

The Women's MITB match wasn't perfect, but damn it was fun to watch. Everyone worked their assets off in that match.

Dirty win or not, it pains me to see Asuka get pinned by Carmella. Reminds me of seeing Neville get pinned by Enzo...

While the pacing was different from their other matches, I enjoyed the Last Man Standing match. Not all matches need to be graceful flowing technical masterpieces to be entertaining.

The Rousey/Jax match was better than I thought it was going to be. Rousey is picking things up really quickly. Whoever mentioned her needing different ring gear is right though. I swear I saw a slight nipple slip on that powerbomb. (the camera crew seemed obsessed with angles that looked down her top, too. Not that I was unappreciative, but if I can tell how frequent it is, it's a bit excessive.)

The men's match was good overall, though I wanted Joe to get the briefcase. Strowman with the briefcase seems like a bit of overkill. A part of me wonders for the future: once Strowman captures the Universal title, how the hell do you get it off of him believably?

So after letting MITB marinate in my head for a while here are some thought. I have to give Rousey her credit, she is doing better than anticipated. Glad to see they didn't put the belt on her just yet. We all know it will happen, but let that take a little time. As for Asuka, welllllllllll damn. I feel bad for her. She really should have won a title by now on the main roster, but they have completely wasted her much like most of the female talent on either roster. And, apparently the asian curse continues with Nakamura, I really thought they would have put the belt on him last night. So what happens now, do they carry the feud through Summerslam? Do they end it now? I will say this was probably the best of the matches between Styles and Nakamura but for some reason it did not feel like the end. Matter of fact the match at MITB really kind of felt like the beginning of the whole thing. It felt like the rivalry was actually worth something more then getting punched in the balls last night. Only took 5 matches to do it.... well done. Not even going to get into Jinder/Reigns. But, did Strowman really need the briefcase, Nope. Matter if fact none of the RAW people needed it. Kinda hard to cash in when the title is never around. Was really pulling for Joe or Miz. But the Freebird rule with New Day and the briefcase would have been amazing. So a question, if they would have the Freebird rule for the briefcase could they have done the same for the WWE title had they cashed in a won. So the New Day would have been the WWE Champions. Could have been fun to see.

...I don’t get it. Shinsuke still had momentum prior to turning herl and if I’m not mistaken, his merchandise sales was doing well.

Yeah, I’m kinda tired of Bliss / even though she has her strengths.

I feel the same way too...I’m just so turned off by some of WWE’s bookings.

Please don’t let that be the case! :(

Ronda is great, she reminds me of Kurt Angle because she very quickly adjusted herself to wrestling

I read the results about MITB on Google this morning. I was not surprised that Alexi won the women championship again for I do not know how many times.

Alexa got off lightly if all Ronda did was put her through the table.

I wanted to see Alexa beat so bad she never wrestles again.

Wishing for that kind of thing is really quite pathetic. It’s not real.

So Raw started off pretty hott, Rousey looked pretty fierce. But she needs to work on her briefcase striking lol. The IC title switch was a welcome change. Then the show started to slow down and it never picked back up. It’s sad to see how uninterested or uninvested the crowds really are with anything tag team related. The “B” teams skit was pretty funny. And seeing Bo dressed like Bray was great. But it’s really obvious that WWE just doesn’t care about their tag division and it has trickled over into the crowds. Sad sad

Get ready for a string of "defend your briefcase" matches to main event Raw for a while.
