The moon n stars version was actually better if you ask me. It had a way darker gun metal flake plastic as opposed to HFTD BBOP, and I thought the colors looked better. The stars n moon look real cool to me now, back then..not so much. its really grown on me. Like YOTH

 

Looking back, I probably should have picked it up. The moon and stars deco is certainly better than the TRU exclusive DOTM voyager prime redeco in red. What a useless repaint.

So, a listing for Bonecrusher and a different Prime. Hopefully Bonecrusher is a vastly improved new figure like Blackout, and as for the different Optimus... AOE/TLK version? A smaller Evasion mode Prime? A repaint of the SS one.

If it's just a straight re-release of SS, that will be stupid as it looks like he is going to be a repack with Ironhide.

Anyway, back on topic of this thread, I love the weapons, but will probably pass on the hooks and axe. Although with Megatron coming out soon I could get the hook to recreate the forest fight in ROTF. Although technically the Helecopter was Grindor, which I did not know until recently. Actually thought Michel Bay forgot Blackout died in the first movie and just took it with a grain of salt. Lol.

Now if they make SS Sentinal Prime and DOTM Megatron figures that are improvements oncer their initial releases... Then I might want the axe to recreate that last fight scene, which was one of the best IMHO.

 

I'd get those hooks if there were a decent Fallen toy / I owned it, for obvious GIVE ME YOUR FACE poses.

 

I don't own it, but I have seen it in person. It was majorly disappointing for me. I am glad there are others who dig it, though  

 

I might pick up that axe, and give it to a different figure.

 

Or, quite likely, a DOTM remould with different weapons.

 

The listings have different product code numbers, thus indicating some kind of difference. Like @Galva Prime said, I would bet it's the DOTM version, which is just an easy retool of the existing Studio Series Optimus Prime, hopefully with guns this time.  

But Optimus didn't use hooks to rip The Fallen's face off...

 

He didn't? Oh. *shrug*. He should have. I'd still have them in that pose, accurate or not.

 

Ripping someone's face off with a pair of meat hooks is brutal. Ripping someone's face off with a stick is hardcore.

Optimus used the hooks on Grindor to rip his head in half. Optimus ripped The Fallen's face off with The Fallen's own staff, then punched through his chest, ripped his spark out, crushed it in his hand, and let The Fallen fall to the ground dead.

 

Ah, sweet. Face-destroying action. Now if only Grindor's fig wasn't atrocious. Thanks for the correction.

 

HAHAHAHA dude that's probably something Bay actually said when being questioned about how many weapons can fit in Prime's body  

As for these sets, if they are indeed separate then I will probably only be getting the hooks. For the other weapons I'll wait for a dotm redeco and hope that some of them are included.

 

No problem. And yeah, the Voyager Blackout/Grindor figure isn't that great either.  

 

Are these 5MM pegs? Because I would love to give the axe to my Generations Sandstorm.

 

They should be, considering that all Transformers figures use 5mm port hand holes.

 

Definitely want the gun. Though I wonder if it fits for both hands. I'd like to have dual guns, like the factory shoot-out in ROTF.
