One thing however, should they be this black/charcoal-ish color?

Regardless, these hands bring this figure from great to extra great.

Purchased mine from uncle billy a couple weeks ago and tracking says they're almost here! I can't wait as I've recently been fiddling with my Blackout again and I feel like I'm just as amazed by how good he is as when I first got him (minus the hands haha)!

Good thing I already own grey spray paint since that's the first thing I'm gonna do to these things. I have no idea why they'd mold them in such a dark grey since it doesn't match a single thing on the figure. My guess is they just have that shade of plastic for their 3D printers and didn't want to get another color for this project. LAZY.

 

I got these hands a while back and yeah, they make the figure so much better. The darker gray color doesn't bother me too much, to be honest.

 

Finally arrived! They’re awesome. What an improvement. I’ll spray them at some point but I don’t even hate how they look with the dark grey. From my insta:

I'm assuming it's to show that the hands can stay on for alt mode without being removed/partsforming. I didn't know about this so I for one appreciated the photo with this gimmick.

 

Yeah, probably should have put a description on that photo, sorry. But yeah, it i s to show where they go on chopper mode. I am guessing they probably go over the folded in hands. In the attached picture, you can see a rectangular indent in the wrist, where the new hands will most likely tab in

 

Yes that is correct. So in chopper mode they just kinda hang out there, but it's not really a bad look. I painted mine a slightly lighter grey (thought the spray would turn out even lighter) so they look even better now!

 

Got my set of hands from uncle billy today only to discover both had broken at the wrist during shipment. This is some pretty weak material.   Tried contacting them through their website but the message didn’t go through. Any other way to get in touch with them, or do I need to go through PayPal?

 

That's horrible! Mine were very well packed and arrived without even a scratch. Did yours come in a box?

Yes indeed. And each finger should have two joints. I think you just got unlucky. Sorry
