...i bought mine from other world computing, but a quick amazon search for 'spudger' brings up a wealth of pry-tool options...

Much like Unique Toys Peru Kill and Challenger as well as Hastak's Studio Series, I don't care if they cheat transformation like those Titanium Ultra Magnus and Car Robot Fire Convoy/Optimus, as long as the end results of both modes look accurate while keeping the transformation process simple.

I hope they tighten the ball joints but not Iron Factory tight.

This line is king, I don't expect Menasor until next year though. We will wait and see what they have for TFCon.

These guys look so clean and I think if someone upscales them to deluxe/voyager there would be a market. Though, KO companies never do every single mould of a line.

I hope these guys make a Sixshot to match this guy as Shadow Tengu is too small and MFT's is way too big for what I'm going for

Ahh we can only dream, but if DX9, New Age and Magic Square work together on different characters for each than the dream shall come soon

Really curious about what New Age chooses as their follow-up to Bumblebee.

Glad DX9 stayed in the legends game; I was worried after the big show last year when UT, Iron Factory and Magic Square rolled out their 2018 line-up and DX9 had nothing new. I figured MFT had run them out.

Magic Square is starting to get obnoxious; they keep revealing new product, but refusing to ship anything. I just want one figure in hand before they reveal their next product.

I would guess @zeroblue2099 had non-repaints/minor remolds in mind. If so, I share his curiosity!

It is still odd that after that lengthy hiatus that DX9 has only shown Dutch. One would think they should have more up their sleeve. Of course if you subscribe to the notion that DX9/Magic Square/Newage are all tied together then they’ve been very busy.

Yeah, I am thinking of their next original mold. If they will choose another minibot or '84 character or something totally different like a Japanese exclusive character like Minerva or Beast Wars.

DX9 Seekers, Soundwave and Optimus are certainly mini MPs, but only early attempts of them. Meanwhile, New Age Toys and MS Toys are mini MPs that surpass existing MP counterparts. Their Inferno and Grapple feel 100% compared to MPs while allowing for reasonable simplification and cleaning up well with good proportions. The legends Ultra Magnus and Bumblebee certainly surpass their MP counterparts

DX9 Seekers and co are fine, but they aren't as clean as MS TOYS and New Age due to gaps, but definitely on par with mp11. Their Soundwave's head seems a bit small. I can't tell if MS Toys Blaster shares the same aesthetic style as it or not.

Does anyone think the early DX9 legends like Kup, Blurr and the Galvatron trio share similar design traits with MS Toys especially with the biceps? MS Toys did say they are friends with Unique Toys(Also sister company of DX9).

All those pelvic thrusting Magic Square prototypes got you excited, yeah?
    :D

I'll cut Magic Square plenty of slack on releasing something. Their UM, Grapple and Hoist are ready for market and presumably waiting on packaging. They've also shown plenty of near complete concepts to show they've got a good line of figures on the way for a company that's new to the scene.

I get a little more annoyed with a successful, well established company like Iron Factory delaying figures without announcement than I do a new company bringing something to fruition.

Agreed; unannounced/unexplained delays are the bane of 3p. I was happy when Magic Square started show progress and happy to see the reviews. They look like good figures.

I think announcement of the base squares (almost identical to the four or five companies) following the announcement of whole new MP line was what annoyed me. Probably be more blaise if I didn't have bunch of crap going on at work & home.

I already have a tiddly Seaspray Make Toys made.
But a very small one would go well with that recent tiny Bumblebee.

I'd actually really like to see a lot more slightly - oversize Combiner Wars / Titans Returns / Power of the Primes Minibots from the likes of Machine Boy - even if they ignore the Titan Master compatible ones and just make Swerve/Gears/Windcharger/Cosmos/Tailpipe that would be nice to have iin that slightly bigger size.

One thing that crosses my mind with all these wee Optimus / Ultra Magnus & the odd Six Shot - is how no one seems to have thought of farming a Character rather than a line - for example Starscream or Optimus.

The 3rd party interest seems to stop at G1 - but why not a tiny Armada Prime ? I'd love to have an Armada Jetfire that is compatible and about the same size as Iron Factory's recent Jetfire toy. But the same holds true - as the old joke about Optimus needed to combine with something - is a nice little trope for someone to farm all on it's own.

You could have Mini versions of :
Overload, Armada Optimus Prime and Jetfire

The same idea applies across other lines too.

I support you 200% on this idea for a Legend RID/Car Robot UM/Prime! Man, if it's real, I would have to get 2 God Magnus and 1 Fire Convoy in order to display as God Magnus and the combine form God Fire Convoy side by side.
