There's actually a reason for that: Spoiler: Somewhat major spoiler From what I've heard: After the first battle in the movie, 'Bee is badly hurt and really rattled by it and has low-key PTSD. When Charlie reactivates him she swings at him with a wrench and IIRC he knocks her back on instinct or something from being attacked. He's not actually scared, he's regretful and goes into the corner out of shame basically. If you watch his body language and sideways glances match up perfectly with that verses being genuinely afraid.
I gotta say, I'm impressed with the design. If you squint his face almost looks exactly like G1 bumblebee. I think they achieved something great here.
That sounds about what I assumed. Not necessarily that exact scenario, but something along those lines. I thought that response looked more like sadness or shame than fear.
Do you get off from getting angry or something? It's like you draw bizarre masochistic pleasure from ranting about how much you hate the movies, in every single new movie thread.
As always, thank you for your input. We all love reading your enlightening posts. They really are the bee’s knees.
This movie is gonna be fantastic. I'm feeling nostalgic for the 2007 movie again. And this toyline is gonna be just as exciting. Gimme a Volkswagen Bumblebee One Step Changer, Hasbro!
Sounds like this version of Bee hasn't been in battle before or he escaped from being tortured for information and that's why Starscream is there.
Looks like they showed off some clips: CineEurope: Paramount Teases 'Mission: Impossible - Fallout,' J.J. Abrams' 'Overlord,' 'Bumblebee'
Are we gonna see the other classified one soon? You know..the shorter one that we heard a while ago but everyone is quite silent about?
I agree if you squint, the top of his "passifier" (or ball gag) looks like his mouth line, and the passifier is his chin. Its a good compromise
