Deciding to record the day before the Bumblebee trailer due to schedules and being sure it'd likely be a 30 second teaser of little merit, Vangelus and Aaron and TJ unknowingly have a giant serving of crow being prepared behind them as they discuss Dino Riders and Repuggles.

Hmm, you decided not to plan around a potential event and the lack of attention makes you look foolish.  Sounds like the ghost of July Chris got a jump on haunting you.

In short it's great to see how much of a difference in tone one gets by removing the oorah generator and swapping in someone who appears to actually like robots as characters

it's less deciding not to plan and more "this is the day we can record"

It's interesting how you guys mentioned having hopes for seeing what POTP Wave 4 would have held. I believe it was established at Toy Fair that W4 is Novastar and Novastar only, and that they've already shown us all of mass retail Power of the Primes. Everything else will be exclusives, and the leaks we've seen line up with that statement.

By the way, it's been good being a collector in the Philippines!

    YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH!

That display looks sexy... in the unhealthy barbecue bacon cheeseburger kind of sexy. I wish it was in my belly.... that burger... or that toy aisle. yum.

@Vangelus... Reaction Questions/Answers are the worst, you should ignore all the dumb PMs that reference old user questions. Now if you called it a "Retro Response". that.... that would also be dumb... but better somehow. a little.

As always, thanks for answering the question I sent in! I always love to hear your responses. Another great episode! And now I have my fingers crossed for a new Blue Bacchus.

Like waving a steak in front of a hungry dog.

I don't see why when Hasbro decides they're done with a line the last wave(s) always have to be like this (USA perspective). The last wave barely trundles out and at least few side launches slip from the wild so fast you basically have no hope unless you were in the chair during the first hours of it being buy-able. We need to throw questions about this at Hasbro's face next time they hold a Q&A, I'd LOVE to hear their corporate canned answer for this is.

late-line distribution often falls into the realm of what the bigbox retailers decide to do with their stock, unfortunately. hasbro sells it to them, it hits their warehouse in giant stacks, and thennnnnn wheeeee~

I think @Aaron has got a more comprehensive answer than mine, I feel like he's said it at some point but I can't remember where

unfortunately the hasbro q&a's are often enormously unequipped to answer distribution questions as they're usually being fielded by the brand and design team members, who likely don't have a ton to do with that side of the operation

our hopes for wave 4 are mostly couched in what we had been hoping for before that soft confirmation that there's nothing else coming, we are just still in a stage of lamentation and woe

So in Australia Toyworld, Kmart, Target, Toys r us, myer and to a much lesser extent, Big W are the major vendors for figures, however there is a mojor issue seeing Toys r us fail: Leader class. They are the only ones to keep constant stock of this size class, with Target and Kmart getting them VERY rarely, this, plus most of these stores ask a premium, with most wanting $35AUD for deluxes and $19AUD for legends, along with at least $90AUD for Leaders anyway. Kmart is the only 'affordable store as they charge $29AUD or if we are luck $25, which is sad since up until POTP they were always $25 for a deluxe in other words, its a massive shame whats about to happen, but it already sucks in australia.

P.S. TJ, New Zealand is more southern than us... even if that line is a joke, it still hurts me inside

In regards to Play art Kai's and Final Fantasy VI getting shafted for figuines by square-enix

I would like to bring up the game CHRONO TRIGGER
because MY GOD getting any kind of posable figure of that games cast is impossible and Square-Enix's refusal to do anything with it makes me sad!

I WOULD LOVE TO BUY SO MUCH OF THEM!!!

I wanna say I yelled about this somewhere once & was told Chrono Trigger is in a weird place for that because Toriyama did the designs

which sucks because yeah I've wanted good Chrono Trigger figures since I was in elementary school >.<
