Also anyone who argues against me is obviously a Takara fanboy who sucks the dicks of KOBashashii or whoever that designer is who RUINED MY CHILDHOOD

Anyone who enjoys this figure or likes anything about it at all is obviously WRONG and I will repeat this every single page until you STOP LIKING THIS TOY

If you think that there is anything redeemable about this figure you are completely wrong

I MEAN LOOK AT IT FOR CHRISTS SAKE

Lol! Outright proof? Well, you got off to a bad start saying MP-10 is supposed to be a Peterbilt. MP-10 and also the G1 toy are based on a Freightliner (like the red model you posted is too)! Your post pointed only to the windows being more accurate on MP-10 compared to V3, which you'll note I completely agree with! But other than that V3 has MP-10 beat in some big ways - the position of the front wheel being right in the front corner behind the bumper the most glaring. MP-10's is set well back, and with it so is the foot ladder for getting in the truck which on MP-10 would be pretty useless right at the back of the cab! Hard to see but V3 appears to have an actual door sized door detailing. And another biggy - V3's back end looks flatter than MP-10's which improves on the worst realism innacuracy of MP-10, and hand in hand with that V3's trailer is closer to the ground and taller having a rectangular cross section rather than square like MP-10's - again, more realistic.

As I said - MP-10 - windows. V3 - everything else. They are both great but V3 has it. You got any more 'outright proof'? Excuse me while I drink some more Takara koolaid, man.

Cartoon accurate? Yes. Looks good? Uh... Just because it's cartoon accurate doesn't mean it looks good or even a good idea. :p

I think the beloved and great Michael Bay even said they first tried CGI versions of Transformers that were true to their 80's counterparts for the 2007 movie, but it looked completely goofy, so they went with the crazy organic look we all now know and love/hate.

Yes that's all well and good Liam, but it is completely normal and expected that some who will eat up whatever new thing Takara drops in the line of what they collect to say something like that even when outright proof of which is more accurate to the vehicle it is supposed to represent is placed right in front of them.

    :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

The thing is, in Japan they have the same type of trucks we use in Europe. Not a Peterbilt. Thus the initial toy, that was designed resembling Japanese vehicles and vehicles they drive like the Nissan van, Prowls police car mode and the truck that is OP. When introduced in the US where different vehicles exist for those roles it didn't bother much for kids back then. But with the new movies they went with American cars. Like the Mustang, and the Peterbilt.
If anyone wants a movie accurate MP I guess Takara already did that with the latest line.

I just noticed the gimmick to collapse the chest down to make his torso narrower requires the windshield have two panels each. That parting line will look nasty in alt mode. Worse than Koot's, I think.

Rmm, I'm sitting here looking at Freightliners and the windows are still rectangular, so either way, MP37 is inaccurate in that regard.

So odds on when we'll see this. . He must be aways off, as it won't be a colored one for a few months. Wouldn't be surprised if this reveal being like Dinobots, no picture, could be an earlier version versus where they are at now.I'm pretty sure they have learned by now people don't follow directions. I'm guessing Spring sometime like April or May. If BW Megatron does hit December or Jan. will they skip their rotation for the year since thats basically 2 BW in one year, no G1. It would explain why they decided to go with 2 really big molds

At least one of those would have advanced the line.
