I mean if this is true wich I doubt it is Steeljaw did have a robot mode in the AOE toy line.

 

Just thinking about Bonecrusher and the new Optimus meaning there will be a wave 5 for Voyagers and if that would mean Studio Series will continue for a little while despite the leaks we saw.

 

The leaks we saw never indicated a stopping point after wave 4 mainly an indication for 2017.

Personally I think Until Hasbro repeats their process like with the last knight where they said " this is the very last products for the line " we will continue to studio series.

But yeah steeljaw I particular is a huge red flag. Then again. We did get Thundercracker. He wasn’t even IN a movie! At least Steeljaw appeared, as a non transforming wolf thing owned by Lockdown. But still. Hey wait a minute. What if they mean THIS Steeljw? :O


A leader garbage truck is a bit large. But considering he’d be a 3 part combiner I can kind of understand it.
I’d say these rumours are unlikely, but not impossible.

They already did improve on it (technically)

Just because that it’s leak only showed a few waves does not mean that is the be all end all for this line.
A leak won’t show EVERYTHING HASBRO IS EVER GOING TO DO. We got a glimpse at their 2017/2018 plans. We’ve already had other leaks that hint at more studio series beyond the what the first leak showed. Hasbro claims Completing the cast is one of their goals on the back of the studio series packaging.
There is every possibility studio series will be here for a long long time.
Could it end with 3/4 waves? Sure. If the toyline bombs or Hasbro decides they want to focus on other things.
Do we know for a fact it is ending with 3/4 waves? No. We have more reason to believe it will continue than we do to think this is the end of the line.
Until Hasbro comes out and says “that’s it, onto the next line” we can believe it is continuing.

If that's the case it opens the door sooner than later for an evasion mode prime as well since that was a flat nose as well.

 

There was no red flat nose truck on set. The truck in that photo was a MUCH newer conventional truck used to haul equipment.

first ok the order to continue with no known eta at this time or
option two to cancel the order.

Same could be said for the upcoming KSI drones.

 

Studio Series, if I remember correctly, was partially advertised as doing all movieverse designs, so as to update characters and do characters who never got a toy in the first place, but in a generally "accurate" scale. Saying that one character doesn't "deserve" an update because of screentime is just ludicrous.
