Mech Planet is not MFT.

MFT does KOs.

This is not a KO.

This figure probably isn't even happening at all anymore since Hot Soldiers split off from Mech Planet.

Just go pre-order DX9's WiP Dutch (or wait for MFT to KO that) and let this thread die.

3 different companies:
DX9 (War In Pocket) = Dutch (currently on pre-order)

Mech Planet (Hot Soldiers) = HS02 (dead in the water due to internal company conflicts)

MechFansToys aka MFT doesn’t have a legends Optimus Prime yet

 

But, havent we seen new promos of this since the split? Even seeing NEXT!

 

Darn, I hope not! I really liked the "mini-MP10" style of this guy; he was my favourite of the recent legends Optimus deluge. Whoever owns this design, please release him!

 

Make it or, sell it to MFT

 

Yes we have, I'm still pretty sure it will be released. And I'm convinced they have something to do with MFT judging by the prototypes be compaired to one another. Besides, have you noticed MFT hasn't ko'd a character from another company or a mold that was done by Mech Planet? Anyways, may not be the same people, but I'm pretty sure they are related in some way.

 

They are already a good size, though. They are also already in the same price range.

I think I like Dutch better. He is just way too small.

 

I expect this will be released 4th quarter or start of next year. Or atleast some better or more certain information about actual release date.

Mech Planet / Hot Soldiers used to be produced by MFT, i think, now they split(shame) Hotsoldiers is probably having to shift a lot of things around and reestablish themselves. So it is going to take sometime.

I think both companies were doing the goldbug or was it the cliffjumper+bumper together as the last hurrah. It will be interesting to see if Hotsoldiers gets stiffed on one those, as we are still waiting, might be the case i speculate.

I have no doubt Hot Soldiers will press on as they have the original designs, something MFT doesnt. I think Dutch would need a bit of upgrading if he were upscaled, he is very toyetic even for dx9 own style, so...

 

The only issue is that MFT KOs of DX9 WIP products are not 1:1. They are upscaled a bit. I guess we'll have to wait for Pocket Toys to do a 1:1 KO.

Yep, and I'm pretty sure Mech Planet had a hand in it's design. MFT does upscale most of the ko's bun not all of them

 

There is definitely some relationship between MFT and MP/HS as well as NBF. It would be nice if MFT just ran with this design... they need an OP

This will be a nice add for my collection of Legends-Scale Primes. I wonder how this one sizes up to Hybrid Convoy. I really REALLY liked that figure, horrible alt-mode and all.
