    I never heard about this.
They won't, because that's his actual head. That's what he'll come with.

It has to do with the lower legs. If u look where the yellow shock/spring is u can see a difference in the molding. I noticed it cuz i look at all the details these movie figs have rm1-1.jpg

Huh. Mine has that too. I wonder if it's an intentional design?

So what if it was never shown, it's not exactly a leap of faith to know he had a normal mode like the others. Why wouldn't he?

Is it so hard to comprehend that I personally want something that can do normal, weaponized, and robot mode? Anything less is incomplete to me and not worth my money. These guys are barely worth my time as is, but triple changing cars would be hard to pass up.

The design was meant to transform into the unarmed car, the Stealth Force part probably came after. Since it'd probably be impossible to make them switch between car modes on a toy, they obviously chose to go with the modes they had in the movie. Look at Roadbuster's chest, or Topspin's doorwings - untransformed and unarmored. Still, I wish they could've at least used faux kibble to solve that problem here.

But I mean that silver prototype from a while ago looked really good and his chest was fairly close to the on screen look, while still having the weaponized vehicle. But for some reason Dream Factory changed it and now the chest is completely different and completely inaccurate.

Edit: See? Armored alt mode and a fairly close to screen accurate chest.

...Well in that case, I have no idea why they changed it, but the Wreckers were some of the bots I didn't feel like studying and decoding how they might transform and how better toys could work - same for Dream Factory's KOs, I just took a look at them and thought "cool, much better than what we got." If I feel like it, I might try and figure out why they changed him later on.

Only saw the silver prototype before, would've taken that one over this.

Don't know why they changed so much, hopefully the paint does more for the likeness.

The prototype had a ridiculously enormous backpack, I'm glad they redesigned the figure completely. I'll hold judgement on the chest and head until they reveal the deco - if they're strategic enough, both could look perfectly fine.

The differently-sized legs are a side-effect of the vehicle mode. The Impala stock car has a rear-end that tapers in further on one side than the other. You can see the same on DOTM Deluxe Roadbuster.

Yea I noticed that on both figures but looking at dream factories it doesn't suffer from that side effect

The original Deluxes were based upon whatever concept art was available and the original unaltered stock cars, whereas the Dream Factory figures are based upon the prop vehicles used in the final film, which didn't end up having this design feature.

Reminds me of the Steve Jackson Car Wars game.

I remember when I found my first group of gamers. I was challenged who could make the better car, so I put 6 one shot heavy rockets with a bumper trigger and ram and maxed out handling. Wiped the floor with that one hit kill...
