First of all props to the artist, I am a toy guy but if I liked statues and had the dough I would buy in a second. Second, its a statue, and im sorry both male and female statues are given a level of detail that really pops when something is pleasing to the eye. I mean one of the most prominent ones I can think of is a dc statue of nightwing that is him looking over his shoulder to draw attention to his butt.

Sorry, off topic anyway props to the creator! Keep up the good work despite the haters!

    I also meant to mention...

This design generated a whole lot of controversy, interest & debate.

Imagine if - if Arcee was in the reboot - and her design is near anywhere like this, the controversy alone would drive up the hype machine, interest, and, hence, the box office numbers.

From a purely marketing and publicity point of view. This is what keep mentioning time and time again to use the fembots Autobot and Decepticon as part of the publicity machine for the live action movies but make some of them teem with sex appeal.

    This design accomplishes that.

I always look forward to news about sexy stuff.  Always sends the thread into a frenzy of anger and disgust.
As for me, I\'d love to get this.  Only problem is it\'d take me several months to save up enough to get the smaller size.

Finally looking at this set of pictures on my PC instead of mobile, and I think this might actually be a physical prototype. The shadows fall more realistically, and there's some rough molded edges in places, and other places where the fine detail isn't razor sharp.

I like it. I like how she’s sexy. Roboboobs make no sense, so points for sculpting them.

I'm trying to find out . So far I have proven the inverse hypothesis in that it does, indeed suck to be poor.

You know, I see a lot of commentary about this being "sexy" and people getting a rise out of people being bothered by that (which, by the way, is a bit rude.) But here I am confused, because, well, say Arcee is a real entity... she'd be metal. And giant. This statue is a representation of something that would badly hurt your nards. I have autism, so maybe it's just a symptom of weird brain.

And, while I like Arcee as a character, there isn't really any denying that the G1 toon ladies were all plain bad as Transformers designs. After this much time, one would hope that the folks making designs would at least try to make them look like they can transform. The lithe lady look isn't even a problem — design variety and all that — but the kibble makes the Transformer and I can't see this design working out on the screen without heavy G1 toon/AOE cheating. Kind of irksome in that regard. Could have added a few sneaky wheels, maybe a seat and a car hood and probably found a way to make it appealing.

Add some more car kibble, make it transformable, and I'm sold. This would steal the G1 shelf spotlight from my GiGasaurs.

ready-player-one-poster-2.jpeg I can't look at that right leg and not unsee it's ridiculous length. Reminds me of this poster controversy. Now you can't unsee it.

Anywho, cool statue...if it was a J Scott Campbell (who's art I love) piece. But as a Transformers related item its totally not believable or remotely accurate.

Looks hot and all that, but doesn't look like a transformer, looks like an android. Give me a bit more kibble with my cheesecake.

Wow, this is very beautiful. Very nicely done. I like that some parts are coming out and moving a bit to give a more robotic feel.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. We don’t need to worry about the loss of kibble because it’s a statue, not an actual transforming action figure. The design is based on the 80s cartoon anyway and let’s be honest, on screen transformations are way more complicated than toy transformations (this is where size does matter. The bigger the object, the smoother the transformation and the smoother the design).

Arcee looks really cool with a visor. Would love to see that in-fiction someday.
