F*ck....... I made it 5 minutes. Bought Feilong. I will say though this company needs to be hyped more, from what I've seen all figures have been great, I'll find out first hand now.

 

Hahaha, I know, it’s hard not to bite on this deal.

 

I picked up the hasbro doublecross (or whatever they call him) and hes such a cool toy but not quite the size/aesthetic i want. I had to really fight to not but their Nemesis prime along with Feilong haha.

 

Ya, I’m eyeing that nemesis prime too. I just picked up the mp10B and love the looks of the them.

 

Yikes. I would have bought all three. Thank goodness that sale is over. Temptation averted.

So I just got Megatooth from TCP, and the ab crunch in robot mode is really loose. I can’t get him to look forward at all because he just automatically arches his back due the backpack putting a lot of weight on his loose ab joint. Is this a common problem, or should it be tighter?

 

I had the same seller and have the same issue :-/

 

Did you order yours recently? If so, maybe it’s a case of mold degradation for this newer batch that was made.

Okay, well, guess there’s no point in seeing if I can exchange it with them.

I think it’ll be okay though. I opened up that section and it shouldn’t be too hard to tighten up either with floor polish or tape.

 

I hate friction joints in those places!

 

He's awesome, but is actually RID Scourge / Black Convoy. The original toy (which I also have) is a redeco of G2 Laser Prime, while the "Nemesis Prime" didn't appear until the Armada cartoon.



Still haven't picked up FH Doublecross or Repugnus after getting messed over by a dodgy seller, but hopefully will get them by end of year. Picked up their black convoy, lazer prime and PMP all of which are exceedingly awesome.

 

I just noticed mine is super loose there, too. Were you able to tighten yours?

This problem is especially frustrating when the rest of the figure is LOADED with ratchet joints, even the waist rotation. Why not the ab?

 

Yeah, I opened it up and added a bunch of layers of floor polish to the socket joint. I tried tape first, but it was too small to get it to stay in. The only tricky part is a spring that’s in there, but it wasn’t too bad getting it back together.

I contacted Fans Hobby on Facebook, and their suggestion was to tighten the screws on his torso. Didn’t do any good for me, but maybe something you could try first.

I agree, it’s really strange they wouldn’t put a ratchet in that joint of all places. Still, I'm really happy with him, especially compared to what we’re getting from Hasbro.
