I'm still not seeing any conclusive evidence that these do or do not partsform. Why is this the general consensus already?

 

From what I've gathered, they look to clip on rather than replace the original hands and there doesnt seem to be any way to fold them into alt mode while they're just clipped on like that.

 

True, however given their previous efforts I don't think any of their hands have partsformed before this. Plus they may have extra joints in there to transform.

What I'm saying is you can think they will, however it's confusing when people complain about it's 'definite partsforming' when it's not a complete fact yet...especially when I've placed five comments in the thread and had all but one ignored.

True, but there's no reason they can't shift around somehow.

 

That makes absolutely no sense. If I transform my MP Primal he will still have A face, that stays attached in both modes. If you had to remove his face for transformation and store it somewhere, that would be partsforming. Having additional faces has nothing to do with this argument.

It's stupid to me to have a figure who would need to fly somewhere, transform, then say "wait hold on a minute everyone I gotta put on my hands!" every damn time. It just breaks the fantasy for me and makes it way less fun. Cool for those who don't care, but partsforming is not to my taste and as such I will majorly hesitate to buy this if it does partsform.

 

Until I see the alternate mode I'm going to assume partsforming. Given the figures construction Im fine with that.

 

Parts form or not, I’m still interested...having to remove the rear rotor assembly from the tail, and placing it on the arm didn’t bother me, so I’m sure moving some hands from one spot to another won’t either.

Price will be the determining factor for me in the end.

I don't think it's stupid, I mean lazy or very limited engineering perhaps, but I do agree that it is lackluster in design and certainly impractical to the fantasy. This is why I will never own a G1 starscream. Integrated weapon storage is one thing but flyboy ain't so fly when he's got to stop to put his hands on.

Welp, there you have it. Nice range of articulation in the fingers, no disassembly required, and stays on throughout the transformation. Doesn't look as pretty in alt mode, but it's designed to work with existing elements, so I'm sold. Where do I pre-order?

 

Im actially fine with how that looks and works in alt mode. Getting these along with that grimlock set

Parts forming (if you want the same alt mode as before) and the alt mode can only have the hands hanging off the back.

Looks passable in vehicle mode i guess, so much mechanical stuff on that chopper anyway, plus the front landing gear can never fold away, what's another bit of hanging metal chunkitude.

Hands look great to me. The ones he has default just look awkward when posing him at times. Is there a release ETAfor these?
