    I'd like to see Takara's take on Slugfest and Overkill. KFC's version won't work for me and I'm not completely sold on the Robot Hero version.

    Similar sentiments (although I agree with about everything you post haha) ... those Dino cassettes were the only G1 tapes I had, so the nostalgia factor would be crazy ...

    But these new Decepticon cassettes will be paired with my MP Soundblaster instead. Orange/ red on black looks even more evil Imo.

    Stripes' back isn't supposed to be completely straight like that. There's two more steps to transforming him. Bend his back and bend his neck so the head. Looks a lot better.

    Really pretty pictures! Very beautiful, in fact. But like @Bass X0 pointed out, the cats need a bit more transforming. Also didn't know if you have Soundwave's legs oriented like that on purpose, but the thighs are facing the wrong way. Looks like they could break that way if the thighs were pushed forward too far.

    I suppose whoever transformed them weren't aware of this extra step. I didn't even know that Ravage had a nose inside his head for a long time. I just thought the toy didn't have one.

    That's why you should always check the manual. You wouldn't want your pilot to fly the plane without reading it either.

    I know what you mean, I think it was over 2 years before I found out whilst watching a video.

    I wonder how many people are still missing that step? I guess no one nose.

    I keep going back and fourth on whether or not I want this set.
    on one hand, I really love all three of these older molds, and these new decos look delicious. and Nightstalker actually looks pretty neat.
    on the other hand, its about 130 dollars shipped for me. thats about 32 dollars per cassette.
    are they at least good QC wise? my Ravage had wicked loose legs that I only fixed recently.

    The price has kept me away. The cost is too high for obscure characters IMO. I'll wait for the KO.
