Are the connections on the top of Swindle/Brawl the same? I could do with measurements to finish off the adapters to make UT legs compatible with Zeta knees.

 

Nope, the connections aren't the same sadly.

 

I didn't think they would be, but I guess these are definitely not compatible with Constructor's thighs? I'm amused they went with a universal socket system for Scavenger/Bonecrusher/Blastoff/Vortex, so you can mix and match the arms, but went with proprietary connections for Scrapper, Mixmaster, Swindle, and Brawl, so they can only be where they are.

Like its fine for Constructor and the other 3rd party Devastators, because Devy was never scramble-city style. But it is interesting the 3rd party companies forgo the scramble city system altogether and just stick with the limb configuration of the cartoons. But I guess trying to engineer it so the limb bots could be any limb would end up being a level of complication not worth it.

 

Are they simple pegs/tabs or are they hooked in? Looks like Swindle has the circular posts too, both male and female.

 

They're hook tabs. I assume the combiner torso will also incorporate the plugs on Swindle.

 

Hard to tell but there is 4 hooks on each connection, and the spacing does look different for each one. I hope there is more holding it together, like on Constructor.

 

They may look different, but I’m pretty sure they are the same because brawl and swindle can be switched.

 

I actually wanted to point this out as well, but at first I thought they attached them the wrong way around (the combiner knees) so that it looks like that is possible.

Ok, so I didn't know you could give Swindle the more cartoon look with the chest, and crotch piece (flipping the pieces around). One main complaint I had with him was I did not like how he looked in those departments. I may consider getting him/them still. Still don't like the Hummer look as apposed to the jeep but whatever.

Damn I’m loving Racket aka swindle the most it’s so strange from the pics I thought he look too thick and kibble but in person in my hand he built so good and looks the part.

Personally the best toy inspired swindle to date, for sure the best looking member so far.

 

Nobody really knows what Zeta will do as this is their first combiner.

 

Once again Bobby skipped some transformations and blames the figure I guess he didn’t realize you can lock under it in the front of the hummer to prevent it from folding down under pressure.

 

but on the bright side, he showed me the opening hood that I had no idea about after fiddling with this figure for week now! lol

 

Can someone post a picture of him next to brawn in robot mode?
