Those would all be my preferences too (as long as a new back hood didn’t result in a gappy back or something), though I’d be fine with a straight new head and paint job too. Really hope we do get one of those two options though. The possibility of this guy as goldbug is actually my current number 1 transformers want!

On a separate note, it looks like his fists might be set at an odd angle - probably something to do with the prototype, and not a deal breaker in any case, but still curious.

Good catch! I just assumed it would get a new head, but the changed arms would be nice too. I just bought the Hot Soldiers Goldbug to keep my Goldbug collection going, but a proper legends scale update to this would be awesome.

I'm completely with you on this. I have a couple of them that I like, but just wish it was closer to the original...who is sitting right next to them.

He's more than I hoped for...with an estimated June release.

It would have been nice if he was 15 bucks or so.
But it seems reasonable.

But he looks more solid than similarly priced Hot Soldiers. IF's Windblade originally sold at the same price from NA retailers and she only came with a single sword.
And Ebay Chinese sellers will be cheaper.

 

Definitely buying this guy from China.  

 

It's Hot Soldiers pricing. I'll take that over DX9 or MST pricing, despite how much I love their designs.

I'll wait to see what ShowZ has them for.

 

Seriously! I bought IF Windblade because I liked her cute chibi look and I figured a $20 figure left out on my desk at work wasn't too risky. Now I've got an even dozen on my desk (approx $230 - $240) and Wei Jiang Devastator on the way. I'll probably get this guy to replace my Hot Soldiers Bee as well.

 

Still within reason for me, besides I want this guy to sell so we can at least get a Cliffjumper out of him.

 

I don't need every BB variation in existence, but I would like Goldbug, Cliffjumper and Hubcap.

from the ankle up he seems legit, but those big ol' romper stomper feet.. sigh... its like no one company can get this guy 100%
