There's a leg panel that many forget to open that covers the hollow area.

RE: Bee - my main QC gripe is more of overall execution, not a "per unit maybe" situation.

From my review: MPM-3 Bumblebee - Transformers Masterpiece Photo Review - Transformers News - TFW2005

Bottom line - the tabs on the feet don't stay in, the wheel peg is weak, and the extension tabs on back of foot have weak tolerance. Makes standing/posing a pain in the ass.

Not mentioned there - fitment going back to car mode is also finicky. Hard to get him "tight".

Nothing like the Prime issues, but there.

I like Barricade alright, but for me he's just not as fun as Prime or Bee. The problem is mostly in the arms and weapon. His shoulder wheels get in the way of hinging his arms out at the shoulder, and his tight arm ratchets always make the little molding detail on his arm that fills out the space where his window folds collapse down because there is no real friction to keep it up. So, I am always unfolding the windows and lifting that panel back up. Besides that, I just don't like the weapon, even if it's accurate. I would rather just pose him without it.

Still, he is sturdy in terms of posing and he looks great. Just not my favorite figure to actually fiddle with.

Oh yeah, I can agree on the foot parts not pegging in. That's my only real disappointment with the toy. The car mode for mine is great.

There's a way to lock the shoulders in place with the car hood. I can't really explain it. Even when I first saw pics here I couldn't figure out what they did. But then the next time I transformed it the hood just fit in place.

The problem is that they get in the way. If you hinge his shoulder out, you basically lose the ability to rotate the arms much because the wheels get in the way.

Mine is waiting for me when I get home. I do hope someone either makes a 3D prontied Frenzy to go with him or a KO version of the Human Alliamce version. It feels weird without Frenzy.

Please forgive my no doubt incredibly stupid question, but I've been away from the boards for awhile, and missed quite a bit - is this the same scale as the Human Alliance line?

No. This is a brand new scale. How long were you away for?

Although, since he's not saddled with the hollowness of the HA's vehicle mode, it winds up that MP Barricade is virtually the same height as the HA in robot mode due to how much that toy condenses down. But that's just a coincidence. Vehicle mode is significantly smaller.

They're close enough in size that this will replace my HA Barricade, though.
