    Excellent! So bought!

Yeah, it does look like these add-on hands are pegged into the rectangular slot that is revealed when the stock pinned hands are folded up into the forearm. Not that I really mind that these hands might have to be removed for transformation. Beats having to knock out pins and possibly mess up the figure.

There's plenty of space under the alt mode to store these, I have no problem with that. Will buy.

    These look great.

I could give a fuck less if it is “parts-formery” or “doesn’t store in alt mode.”

I think that’s being a little picky when an add on by a 3rd party is made to make a figure look better, and is expected to also have some kind of storage in alt mode. Bonus if it does, since there’s that hollow ass end.

But I’ve got a hot tip for those who will be bothered if there is no alt mode storage:

HIDE IT BEHIND ANOTHER FUCKING FIGURE NEARBY. Not hard. And if said shelf is high enough, it won’t even matter if it just sits there close by, cuz you won’t see it!

    MAGIC!

Don't worry, others' criticisms isn't going to affect this from releasing, you don't need to get so agitated.

Some of us have different desires even from an upgrade kit because they want the kit to be a seamless integration into the engineering capabilities that are already there. Just because these standards differ from yours or you're not as picky doesn't mean we can't still hope and want more. If this bothers you, i suggest a nice walk to calm down.

Oh please. I’m not agitated. More like annoyed. How many official transformers come out with useless accessories (combiner wars HFG unless you want this huge hunking thing as a gun, or some of these POTP baby carriers). Yes I realize they can all connect in some fashion but most look ridiculous. These accessories are created as such, and people complain then too.

These are tiny hands. Made for robot mode. I see people commenting that they won’t purchase if it doesn’t integrate into helicopter mode? That’s ridiculous. How hard is it to set them aside, or put them in a ziplock bag with your other shunned accessories until they are needed again?

It simply isn’t that fuckin hard to work around. Now sir, you can go take your nice walk thinking about your higher standards and seamless integration, all while dreaming of world peace.

Again...and I keep saying this...there's no evidence that says it partsforms. It's just a theory that the guys on the board came up with. The original weibo page doesn't say anything about that.

It could honestly go either way.

Ive got just one problem with that argument. Accessories like guns arent required for either mode. The figure is still fully functional in either mode without that accessory. Accessories that are required for one mode, and then just disgarded or thrown aside for the other mode are the problem.

You might not be interested in the Masterpiece line, then. Should I be pissed that my MP Primal can’t hold all his faces on his back somehow in bot mode?

And I know not EVERYONE is displaying their power of the Primes figures with the hand peices stuck on their chests. Some may look passable at best in an alt mode, but that’s a stretch. There are a few exceptions with the hfg’s from combiner wars. So what happens with all these parts? Do you just not collect if you can’t have every part that comes in the box stuck to the figure somehow regardless of mode? This hobby in particular has always had spare parts between modes, since it’s inception.

“Accessories like guns aren’t required for either mode?” How does that make sense for this topic?

It’s still an extra part to set to the side if you aren’t using it!

I for one don’t give a shit about Partsforming & look forward to scooping these no matter what the situation is.

Also need to scoop some guns from off of Shapeways to arm him up. Anyone got some recommendations?

Speaking as someone who has pulled those damn pins on those hands in order to flip them the other way around (looks much better btw), there is no way they expect you to pull off the original hands for these. It was not fun, nor easy.

These have to be parts forming unless they fold over the hands that are already folded away. I don't see that being possible. Partsforming - big deal breaker for me. Yay for you if it doesn't bother you, but parts forming bothers the shit out of me. I've skipped many a kit and figure because of it.

I’m totally down for these. Parts forming is bad but if the alternative is permenant zombie arms then I’ll take it.

Philosophically speaking, I think there is a difference between optional weapons to take off and store, and having to remove an arm to store.

If the hands can’t stay on during transformation then I’m not interested.
If that bothers others than that’s their problem, not mine.
