Let me guess, the guy talked about Transformers and every word that came out of his mouth was factually wrong, wasn't it?

You know, I am bizarrely angry that it's not the 25th yet. I didn't realise I liked this series that much.

Why is the Action Force logo so different? When I saw Action Force at the stores, the logo looked like the GI Joe logo, it just said Action Force.

That would have been after they had merged into being GiJoe in the UK.

Actually watched both. Interesting about Action Force and yea I remember buying them too with the GI Joe font (International Heroes instead of Real American Heroes) Neat seeing the history to them also.

As to his dislike of Transformers. Well he isn't exactly wrong. I love TFs and their designs, but it was a slapped together branding thing. I like more of what it has evolved to these days with more explanation and back stories. It's also a reason why personally I'm not a "Make it full toon" fan because...man it's just so bad.

Great episode. As expected they left big chunks out and jumped directly from the end in the USA to Beast Wars and then to the Bayformers. But to be fair 45 minutes is a very limited runtime for the vast history of Transformers and they mentioned two important turning points with this. They also showed and told a few things I haven't seen or heard before. All in all I enjoyed it very much :)

Glad I was sick at home. Otherwise I would have needed to wait another 8 hours to finally see this :)  I watched this with a bowl of Müsli, nearly the same way I watched the cartoon back then :D

Very enjoyable. Not incredibly insightful, and a very much doubt there was any new information for the seasoned fan.

Beast Wars fans will, almost inevitably, feel incredibly short changed.

I felt the editing was a bit mean on ol’ Bob Budiansky. He seemed to be the. It of some visual gags.

The bits that caught my eyes were the background details. Prototypes of TR Hot Rod and Trypticon behind John Warden. What looked like early design concepts for Springer in the Takara photo books. A lovely boxed Train Robo. I almost wish they’d do ‘DVD extras’ of all that sort of stuff. I’d have a field day.

I thought Bob came out well mind you, it was very gentle too, i was quite moved at the end. I'm sure it was grit in my eye.
