I will get this I am sure but definitely not for the combined mode. What a mess. Those huge shoes look no better than the mess that is the Hasbro version and there is so much garbage on his back, it looks like he just has an additional robot backpack.

the divine armor is awesome on the Thunder Manus and I totally see why they went that way with it. it makes for a super clean yet aggressive look that is perfect for the overall look of the figure. Even the vehicle mode of the divine armor looks better than this does, from all angles.

This guy will make a great partner for the MTCD-03 figure and they do look perfect together but as I say, I will never combine them. No thanks.

That makes a lot of sense. I'm glad that maketoys knew this and I can understand it. Although it makes you wonder. Who acctualy likes God bomber as a character?

 

As a UT fan, I have a soft spot for the bots who are delegated to being power mushrooms for Optimus.

 

I feel as though this has sold me more on picking up the MT PM Prime... Can totally see why they made this a separate add on type thing. It seems in doing so it aided them to keep the price down for the Thunder Manus considerably.

If they sold the Super Ginrai bit separately, I'd bite on this. As much as I love the full God Ginrai form, I don't need two Godbombers. Even better would have been to sell the trailer armor to make Striker Manus into Super and God Ginrai.

I'll likely get this as I'm a sucker for the line, but I wish they'd start doing more of the other characters first. Where is bumblebee, zombie magnus, galvatron, or the dino seekers. Those are all way more interesting imo

 

And thus should be called the divine dress.

I totally agree. I like Thunder Manus and Erebus, but I would rather have some different characters. The zombie magnus was just such a cool idea if they could pull it off. I personally think they should have focused more on Cross Dimension instead of doing Galaxy Force.

 

Although they should do galaxy force where it counts. I understand that cross dimension is a passion project for them and if they want to focus on that more then they should go ahead.

 

For something developed as a proof of concept this is bad ass. Having now seen this, I hope it is available separately as well as in a giftset with Thunder Manus.

Not a fair comparison but this scratches the itch I've been wanting moreso than the LG Ginrai/LG God Bomber. I might pick this up.

I recently combined my Thunder Manus and Divine armor set and they look pretty nice together already. Sine this God bomber is a replacement for that divine armor, what real use is it? I mean I'm going to end up with a lot of spare divine armour parts then. I think if I get this, it'll just stay in robot mode as a companion and that's it.

 

Or you could combine it with Erebus.
