Well the only difference is the ft ones look like shit while the mt ones look like they stepped out of the anime intro.

 

If I could like this twice I would. I hope it's not so that MT are only doing autobots. Silverback looks awesome. Really hope he's still on the cards (along with the rest of the decepticons). IN MY OPINION the FT really are trash. They can't even get the colours right.

 

Sad to admit, other than the “heft” and the awsome neck articulation in wolf mode, Lupus doesn’t really have much else going for it. I still like it mainly for the wolf display as long as it doesn’t reveal too much of its caudal half of the animal mode. There is a lot of truncal obesity going on there.

lucky for me i am not a fan of the cons headmaster. but i am a very much interested in the cons targetmaster. hoping maketoys will make them after their headmaster

 

In for this and any other headmaster or target master they decide to do. They've got a good thing going here and shouldn't let it die after highbrow and brainstorm.

 

That’s a bit harsh. Weird wolf looks good to me. Limitations aside it’s not a bad toon representatin

 

I don't like the way the feet look on the side of alt mode there. I guess it is better that it looks like the heel spur is the same based on the bot mode pics so it is symmetrical.

 

Lupus isn't the main offender as far as I'm concerned, though he does have an incorrect colour scheme, apparent QC issues and IMO looks blocky and bland in bot mode too. IMO Dracula has the same issues as above (minus the QC) but every single colour they have chosen for him is so far off the anime or the toy it's weird. The bat face also looks completely wrong; so much so it loses the character for me. Not a fan. This is my perception and these things are important to me, but not to others so each to their own.

See above for reasons. And I don't have hatred for FT. I'm eagerly awaiting their FT-21 Berserk more than any other release.

They are awesome! Some of KFC’s best work to date!! The working stat gimmick is icing on the cake

 

Not trying to debate you till the bitter end but I’m honestly confused as Dracula’s color scheme looks quite toon accurate to me...

Like you I’m not a blind FT zealot but I’m also eagerly awaiting Berserk.

I think you’ll have to wait indefinitely if you are hoping someone else to attempt the Decepticon Headmasters after FT.

 

Fair enough. Before I post my reply I want to say that I disagree but respect your point of view. I hope others will respect mine and not start an unnecessary argument. Some things bother some people more than others. Better just to accept it than start an argument. Thanks for not being tosser and disagreeing/questioning my opinions politely. Seems to be getting a rare thing.

Completely wrong colour scheme IMO. Claret red/maroon has been replaced with orange and where is the white face?

The purple has been traded for bright magenta and the dark browns of the bat mode are now orange. I concede the wings were brighter on the toy and in some frames of the anime but I don't recall the bat ever being orange though. The shape of the bat face is also completely different which loses the character for me.


Again, what was purple is now bright magenta.

As for waiting indefinitely for someone else to attempt the Decepticon Headmasters after FT: Hopefully those teases of a MT Apeface will actually come to something (yeah I know; he's a horrorcon but he's also a headmaster) and mark the start of some decepticon releases. Admittedly it will be a bloody long wait!

 

In my opinion, Snapdragon is the better of the two --- crazy intuitive and sturdy. Apeface is fine, but doesn't blow me away ... but they come in pairs.

Still wish the silver was white, but if that doesn't bother you, I would recommend picking them up during a flash sale



I'm really excited for MT's last two Headmasters... and Targetmasters while we're at it  

 

MT needs to get their rear in gear for a lot of things....

 

Fair points. Thank you. FT has adjusted their colors prior to release: maybe they will fine-tune Dracula as well.
