Over the course of five Bayformer movies, I think I bought fewer than ten figures. Jazz was one of them and the hands were terrible. Looking back from a period where the toys are starved for parts count, it's only more obscene. If this figure is an improvement, I might consider it for a replacement.

 

It's certainly an improvement, I just wish it did the backpack better.

 

Oh Lord, can we please quit making this dumb argument? Not everything is a retool/repaint. Heck, I saw someone say that SS Lockdown was a retool of TLK Barricade! It looks to reuse some engineering, but it's clearly not a retool. And Jazz looks nothing like Barricade design-wise. CW caused way to much rampant paranoia...

 

Yeah, Jazz is anything but a remold of Barricade. If anything, he's a significant remold/scaledown of HA Jazz, but that only applies to the chest and arms.

It's not an opinion. It's factually wrong. "Shared engineering" =/= "Remold/retool".

Before we saw more then the leaked images. But yea I love movie 1 toys I hsve all of them except Jetfire who is shipping in with all of Movie Best wave 3 & 4 rifht now from Japan. (Stay tuned for my MB playlist to be 99% full except wave 1 Bumblebee). But I'll take a gander & see if I can find it somewhere.  

 

How is it not an opinion? when I said "this might " I never stated it as a fact , if I had said that the figure "IS A RETOOL OR REPAINT" then I wouldn't be arguing with you

 

It sounded like you actually believed that it was a retool/repaint. I pointed out that it's not (and voiced my annoyance with the dumb argument people will make that Hasbro is remolding everything, which really started after Combiner Wars, and it can be shown that that's not correct), to which you then decided to make a claim that you weren't arguing, which I never said you were, as I was pointing out an argument that's been thrown around before (and proceeded to throw an attitude in there at me, which at the same time made it sound like you were saying that it is your opinion that it could be a retool). I then pointed out how it isn't an opinion because it can be shown to be incorrect.

I'm having hard time pegging in alt mode ... anyone having the same problem ? Is there any fix or mod?

 

Are you plugging in the lower torso into the car roof well? If not, that could be the problem, so try plugging it in correctly. If not, it’s a defect that may be common.

Bam!!!!!! I still don't get how jazz is dead? I mean megatron only ripped his torso in half.. but his sparks still intact.. Rachetcan fix him a new body or he can rescan new vechicle ... bay oh bay...

 

Because Michael Bay wanted him out of the way. I believe in the original script, Megatron ate Jazz’s spark, but that was left out of the final cut. Eleven years later and I’m still furious he killed off the Autobot with one of the coolest designs in the entire franchise.
