I hate how annoying MP01 is to pose. Diecast doesnt automatically equate quality. There, an anti-MP01 post.

I really do like MP01 and MP10, but I agree with you- MP01 has better range in his knees and hips, but range doesn't equal poseablity all the time. His balance and limited foot articulation make him pretty hard to pose dynamically when compared to MP10.

one of my biggest issues with statures and busts has been that they have always made them look like action figures in a fixed pose and it's rare if ever do they just go purely for a cartoon aesthetic something a toy cant really pull off.

So with that said this has me rather hopeful.

"Please God, they know not what the speak.." :lol

Well now that we can clearly see its cartoon Optimus, even is cell shaded, that's quite original, wouldn't you say?. Granted I'm replying off an older text but it just goes to show you speaking before you know iSnt always the best idea.

You have more range with the original, even in the feet too. I can easily get way better poses myself with MP-1. There are ways to balance him but I hold my toys and play with them mostly. Then put em away in packaging so when i wanna mess with them they are still tight. ;)

I won't argue that if you aren't going to actually have him standing on his own, the range is better with MP01.... except in the feet. He has a ball joint, but the range is blocked by his leg. MP10 has a better tilt, and the swivel below the knee on MP10 acts as foot rotation.

Looks like it is from the Devastation video game, as that is using the same model and cel shading techniques.

This looks amazing, I don’t normally go for non-transforming figures but I might make an exception if the price is right. Do we know how much this will be yet?

This is awesome statue so far PCS did mention around $150.00 a while ago on Facebook. I think this is around 10 inch scale so they could make him that cheap.. PCS 1/4 are little cheaper than other companies for their 1/4 statues. They can do that by not paying as much for production, but to do that they have to wait in line. So you have to wait a long while to get your piece. SSC needs to carry these.

Yup 01's feet are a bit restrictive for tilts. That is true. I guess I use his toes and heels more on that figure & it has 'some' tilt, assuming I even stand him up. Luckily mine is pretty tight jointed still, ball jointed head popping off aside. I never was a fan of boot cuts just cuZ it just doesn't seem that realistic. But if ppl like them and it helps them get poses that's fine too. I like my MP-10 too, especially bc he has his trailer, Roller, & most of all Spike! and I never got MP-04 he was just too damn expensive at the time. But i do have a real soft spot for the original it's my #1 toy out of way to many toys to mention. The only one that rivals it is Toyworld Primorion bc they are of similar feel/diecast look ect.

Speaking of my MP-01, My step mom threw him and his gun away (my american version). I managed to find Optimus top of the trash can, but the gun is long lost. I have a grey one in my Takara MIB version though but I still need the black gun.
