(Sorry for the double post, I couldn’t find a way to insert quotes into a pre-existing post that wouldn’t take more than 10 and half minutes on mobile.)

I know this isn\'t Transformers related, but it\'s a part of my childhood. I wonder how Jada will do with their announced 1/24th scale KITT from Knight Rider. I can\'t wait to see it.

Eeeh....I want to say no but having a classic looking Bee wins out. That said, holy sh***t the specs on that thing are unsightly.

Personally, that 06 Concept Camaro, you could probably pick up in a much better form at a local auto show, at that one booth that usually has hundreds of diecast vehicles.

Dang, is that last one just a repaint of some other car? The only thing it has in common with the real one is the paint job.

I agree, they're really not as good as they should be. And by the time you get down to 1/64 scale the detail and paint apps are severely lavking. The Dickie/Simba Smoby versions are better in that regard, but then they give them silly wheels with not or con emblams. Jada doesn't even apply scale properly; the Optimus trucks they made are still labelled 1/24, 1/32 and 1/64 even though they're all obviously at a smaller scale.

Every unlicensed Knock-Off or Legends Class Toy looks better/ has better proportions than these two. And if you compare to the original Deluxe Molds , the Deluxes seem like Masterpieces.

There’s so much wrong with their sculpt. What an unsightly mess. It’s so blocky compared to the rounded lines of the actual camaro, especially around the doors, side panels & headlights. Everything’s been flattened & squared off. How do they give this the OK to ship out the door?

Even Jada got the alt mode right over the MPM.

That 70s Camaro is disappointingly off though.

Yeah it is, that’s the disappointing majority of their Fast and Furious line, repaints that aren’t nearly accurate. They seem to be getting better with all of the new castings and molds, but the repaints persist.

I won't lie, Bee and Crosshairs were great, despite inaccurate color for the latter one. Optimus wasn't as good, not bad, but not the best. Odd proportions, small smokestacks (excusable, due to breakage and such), and it's overall difficulty to find. Though it does have a working trailer hitch, so it evens out. Damn, I wanted get that Optimus a trailer, I need to find one. And yeah, we don't talk about Hot Rod and Barricade.

$20 for a 1:24th scale is a lot to ask when they look this out of sorts. I was already not a fan of Jada's "slap some chrome on everything" mentality, but that '77 Camaro looks like a bad stuntman stand-in wearing a wig and 40 extra pounds. This pricetag and slop is just taking kids.

Both of these are really off, especially the classic Camaro. I already have a concept Camaro model (that's from them) that's far more accurate. I do agree with those that are disappointed with the model's accurate alt mode when the MPM isn't. I'll add to that the fact that these models also get collector coins and the MPM's don't.
