I so wish figures came with the option of articulated hands and no. I'd even be willing to pay little more for an articulated version or seperate hands. I understand those who don't want articulated hands getting pissed at paying for something they don't want and obviously non articulated hands would be cheaper so I'm ok with a kinda premium being added for me. Obviously I'd rather they just be standard and not pay more but then we're just causing issues for the other side.

Ideal solution for me would be a "hand pack" going back a few figures to add articulated hands to any figures that could use them.

Works for me. They're obviously popular given KFC's line of articulated hands for Takara MPs and those aren't even great half the time. Eness has done some too. If they were done by FT who made the original figures, they'd be more likely to be really good.

I like fully articulated fingers. Adds a lot of character and options for the MP. Sovereign and Apaches have great hands, as do their Dinobots. I hope they continue with their Blurr.

Articulated fingers is the right of all Masterpiece Robots. :p

I'd like to see FT offer fully articulated hands/fingers on this as well. FT hands are not comparable to KFC/XTB hands.....FT's are better.

The thing with the articulated hands is that they must be in proportion to the figure and the fingers should have differing anatomical lengths for best effect. Worst thing is to have the KFC hands for the Takara Carbots and have them look all like apes.

Yep, that's not ideal. It's best if FT does it themselves. They've proven they can do good ones.

Definitely this.....for all of the praise i can give to Sovereign, its the size of those hands that really gets me from an overall aesthetic perspective.

Forget the cannon - get slapped by those and its a one way ticket to oblivion.

Now if they can just scale down the way they did the hands for Phoenix.......

Apache's hands were nigh on perfect - correct length, nice joints and very expressive. Something along those lines would be great.

I've fitted KFC hands to most of my MP's, and while I'd be the first to agree they aren't perfect, they do allow for the figures to be much more expressive and emotive.

Since I've pre-ordered the Koot reissue I guess I'm in for Jabber too. I've liked what I've seen so far, and honestly, I've yet to be disappointed by Fanstoys figure.

I like Phoenix’ hands too, but I think what makes them special is the high articulation PLUS the wrist ball joint. The wrist joint is what allows a lot of the cool motions. Apache’s hands are good but illustrates that without a wrist ball joint it is still very static.

I'll say it again, if the fingers lack articulation, the hands may as well be fists with 5mm holes.

    Agreed! :)

I personally like KFC's hands that I bought for my MP's and that's on some of their bots. I can't stand MP-10's. MP-11's, and MP-13's hands as they are limited and some of their digits pop off all too easily. I don't have that problem with the sets I got from KFC. I'm very happy with them, even if they are not "the best" out there. They're still a major improvement compared to what the TT MP's originally came with and modernizes them a bit, too. Not to mention, I get a sense of a more consistent melding between my official MP's and 3P MP's that makes them look like they belong together even more.

FT does do a great job with their articulation fingers. No doubt about it. But KFC's do the job reasonably well, too. At least for me. Here's hoping Jabber will get a nice pair. Given his size, I am confident they will.

Jabber and Rouge are why I'm picking up Apache and Koot. If they put out Hoodlum and versions of Wreck Gar and Wheelie, I'll have a whole Movie cast in the same style. But not Magnus. MP-22 is too close to perfection to replace.

If you don’t mind KFC Crash Hog, I strongly recommend him. Not swiping at you. Their Wheelie Ollie is meh tho.

It's probably too much to hope that this guy will be released before 2019 huh?

I've seen Crash Hog and while I do like it, I'm waiting to see what comes down the pipe since I can circle back for it. I have Ollie and while it's a good Wheelie, there's a lot of room for improvement, especially in the transformation. And I personally love Wheelie.

Me, I'd take a new Magnus in a heartbeat. MP-22 is probably my least favorite figure that I still own. Too big, giant blocky proportions, Playskool colors and sub-par finish, no articulation...all in the name of getting 4 cars on the trailer. A waste if you ask me.

Magnus is overrated to me too. It looks ok from the front but the back is really bad. The legs are too blockyas well and the shoulder joint design is problematic in the long run for articulation. But it does have a shelf presence and the colors are toon accurate. So I guess why it gets props. OVerall though not a bad figure but not a prized one in my collection.

I would guess April/May next year. Note that is based on VERY incomplete observation of figures announced in 2017. Rouge was announced April 2017 and hit (some retailers) in April 2018. The next one announced was Quietus in July 2017 and it looks to be about in line to hit by July or August. I'm watching to see if they can maintain around a 1-year turnaround going forward as they catch up the last 5 figures shown before 2017. Based on that I would actually think February of 2018, but Chinese New Year is early (Feb 5th 2019) so unless it gets out late January that won't happen. That means once things get ramped back up after CNY which would be around March to begin with and the factory will likely have higher priority (for the factory, not us) projects to clear first.
