That was a decent episode, but I came to realize something today. Normally I'm always like, "Flash is on tonight. Only another hour until Flash. Flash is coming on in just a few minutes!" Tonight I was watching the first disc to Shout! Factory's newest Sentai release GoGo Five and I said, "Wow, it's 7:30 already? Well, I'm going to finish the last three episodes on this disc before I watch Flash." And that is exactly what I did. What the hell is happening when I would rather finish a DVD I own rather than watch Flash as it airs?

So Siren-X carried a torch for Dark Arrow!

I can only imagine the jealousy-fueled fights between her and Overgirl.

    So DeVoe...

    - Can calculate near-infinite outcomes across multiple Earths? I wonder if he calculated the outcome of Supergirl's fight against the Worldkillers?

    - Cannot account for someone's feelings? That may be the key to defeat him!

I really can't see myself watching this series after this season concludes. Congrats CW, I was watching your shows, but now I'm not going to watching any of them. That's just sad.

This show is like a bad juggler, they can't keep anything up in the air in an entertaining fashion. Future daughter, DeVoe and his wife, regular crime, Barry's job(s?), Joes upcoming baby, etc. There's just to much that they're not able to concentrate on at any given moment because they can't construct a solid episode that's both a stand alone and part of an arc. It's like there isn't anyone to say, "No. This is what we're tackling this season and how it's going to be broken up."

Plus they have the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

Anyway, about this episode. How did Siren survive the helmet being removed? She didn't have the dose, so she should've passed out too.

Maybe the wife should spend some time looking up recipes? :p

Called it with Harry becoming simple. Maybe next season they can get Wizard Harry.

On a brief side note, I had the thought the other day that they could get John Mulaney to play future Barry in a timey wimey mix-up episode. :D

    Oh well. Whatevs.

They couldn't make Devoe's wifes impending heel/face turn any more obvious with a neon sign over her head.....

Not much. I watch Lethal Weapon live then will watch Flash later. I work third shift and had been up all day. I watched Lethal Weapon, then napped for 2-3 hours. Woke up, watch another show (Adam Ruins Everything), went out shopped around for a few hours. Got home and just now am watching it. So yeah no different from my usual.

I am behind on a few shows and just need to catch up. Ash vs Evil Dead (4 eps), Legion (4 eps), and Deception(2eps)..

The lesson from this episode should have been: don't process your feelings or grief, kids! One day it could save your life.

Well, they have to find a way to show that one omniscient super-villain isn't a match for a whole team of friends! I'm sure that she will probably reveal the secret to beating DeVoe, and tell them how to retroactively save all of the bus-metas.

Side note: I wonder how Cecile is managing her powers these days. Or how the baby is doing. Or how the mystery girl is doing, and what she is after. Or what's up with Barry's job status. All those plot threads that are just kind of hanging out there that nobody is really following up on any more. Not to mention Jay losing his powers, and his secret apprentice.

Since DeVoe now has Ralph's powers, can't he just waltz into CCPD and say that Devoe is still dead, and he is a shapeshifter who Barry (and/or Joe, Cecile, or any and all members of Team Flash) forced into deceiving law enforcement to ensure Barry's release from jail? He could theoretically take out all of team Flash in one swift motion by having them arrested on a conspiracy charge.

You mean re-activated. That instance never went anywhere. And it's not like that room was a huge secret.

No but I'm pretty sure Gideon hasn't actually been in that room since Thawne left. Otherwise there should have been some mention of her the last 2 seasons

Pretty sure they (the writers) just forgot about Gideon or did not know what to do with her and now they felt they could use her again.

Forgot or the actress wasn't available? When the had original dialogue for her they used a sound alike not Morena Baccarin.

I stopped watching mid season, when a show makes me this mad with plot and character problems it's better I don't watch. It's not worth the stress. This show has gone down hill each season. It and arrow could be canceled and I'm not sure if I would care.

If a show is literally giving you stress, you might want to go see a doctor since I doubt it is the show itself causing it.

Nope stopping watching it solved the issues of anger and annoyance that only happened during that hour. It wasn't a medical issue. Just poor writing that annoyed a long time Flash comic reader. When a show's writing gets bad I stop watching, same thing happened with Smallville. I didn't watch most of the last 3 or 4 seasons. When you start having Darkseid and Doomsday before he's even Superman you know the writers are grasping at straws. It's the same reason I stopped watching Gotham. You have people who think comics are stupid writing episodes and they go out of their way to show all the big bad guys with out the big hero ever fully becoming the big hero.
If a show is written badly no matter how much I like the character in other media, it's simply not worth watching.

BTW that can be a very offensive thing to say to a person if you don't know them or know the situation. I was joking around, but there may actually be people with issues who reading something like that could have a bad reaction. We had had training and instances where I work, and there are examples where statements like that have been taken very badly by sensitive people. I had to take a two hour video quiz on this type of stuff.

I think you take comic book shows too seriously though. :lol

BTW, it's the internet, there's nothing but overly sensitive people on it. Everyone wants to state their opinion but they don't like it when someone disagrees with them, especially because they can't comprehend an opinion different from theirs unless someone specifically states it is different whcih is so stupid.

This from the guy who got bent out of shape over Jessica Jones not appearing in her Jewel costume...and not knowing the difference between the two personas. And how many tantrums have you thrown in the Supergirl thread again?

If you read those are serious bitchfests, then that is your own fault for reading that way. You know people can still complain about something and not be super serious about it, right?

Yes, I'm tired of plain clothed super heroes and super villains. If I wanted that, I would watch Heroes. However, it doesn't mean I still didn't enjoy the hell out of Jessica Jones Season 2 and Civil War.

I have to agree. It started out interesting but it's almost unwatchable at this point.
