    I think the bonus sword will be too small for Predaking but just ideal for Abominus.

    I had heard about the plastic issues on the past two TDW upgrade sets, but I took the risk and pre-ordered this from The Chosen Prime. IMO it looks so much better than the PE one. Though if a fan mode to use the PE Grimlock upgrades on top of this pops up, I might snag that set as well.

    So the sword is a preorder bonus, it this dependent on which retailer I preorder from??

    The second (all black) sword is the bonus. The orange one is included in every set. I'm not sure which retailers are including the extra sword (I know BBTS is because I asked), so I'd recommend contacting your etailer of choice and inquiring with them about it.

    I asked The Chosen Prime this, but they didn't know. Maybe one of you guys can tell by looking, but will this kit require any modifications to Grimlock? I remember the Defensor/Bruticus kits from these guys required having to do something to the legs.

    From the pictures seems that all the pieces simply snap or peg on the combiner.

    In people’s experience, how accurate are estimated release dates for preorder items?

    I’ve got a couple upgrade kits preordered, and they both still list April, 2018 as their estimated arrival date. Can any assumptions be made about when they’re likely to ship, or is it a total crapshoot based on company and product?

    That bonus sword is just begging for some Molotow Chrome. Then it would be ideal for Abominus.

    Too bad this set is $60+. I just want the weapons. I could care less about the other updates.

    Swoops seem to be plentiful in stores along with the rest of wave 1. My Volcanicus used to have Swoop as both arms, looked great. Now I have all 4 Dinobot limbs, looks even better with the complete team.

    Wow dang, I haven't seen any Swoops around my area at all. Yeah there's just something about having the whole team combined together and not leaving any one out. I wonder if I could incorporate the extra Dino into the combined mode without it looking too silly haha.

    I check 2 Walmarts, a Target, a Meijer regularly--wave 1 on the pegs every time.

    Once you acquire all 4 Dino limbs, you'll love the combiner even more.

    I really wish they would sell the weapons separately. I don't have any interest in those Combiner parts.

    i have 3 upgrade kits preordered and they keep changing the dates now they all say ( May ) so i figure ( MAYBE SOMETIME THIS YEAR ) lmao
    but seriously i hope they come out sooner than later
