I love brawls tank mode it's fantastic and looks great in leg mode too.

 

Yeah, they both look great, but I can only get 1 at a time, esp. since I'm still waiting for Gabriel to come in. Just worried about Onlsaught's issues. Probably going to go with ShowZ, since they have them for the cheapest, just don't want to have to send it back.

 

Check the joints carefully and then don't move him again until we know if UT will address its issues... I hope they do!

 

Get Brawl next, he's fantastic!

I would say Brawl is the better figure, but you may want to get Onslaught while you can get it from a retailer to help you with parts if necessary.

 

I tried searching the thread, spent a good amount of time but can't find it. Trying to find that pic of Gahz'Ranka (Swindle) where someone put a waterslide(?) decal on him. Where do you get those stickers from also?

Honestly, this is one of the nicest chopter i have seen in a while. That alt mode is drawing me in heavily. And the bot mode look great too. And I love the color selections, really nice job. Thing is, i wasnt planning to get any MP type/scale Vortex, only Blast Off...

Late to the party here, but what's wrong with Onslaught? I'm getting (some of) these for their individual figures, and haven't noticed any problems, so what's with all the talk about replacement/additional parts?

 

Some have had bad ratchets in the combiner knees. Seems like most have had bad ratchets in the waist, but that one doesn't seem to affect anything because the connection is still quite tight.
I haven't had any problems, but I also don't transform mine a lot.

 

These botmodes will tide me over until Takara or Fans Toys maybe does them one day. Provided they don't have QC issues, these will do just fine.

 

I find it weird that UT went spot on cartoon with the first 2 .Onslaught deviated slightly and these just went full Zeta. Wtf happened ?

 

Onslaught has a very flawed waist ratchet design which guarantees that it will break (though a decent amount of them have just been broken out of the box). It seems the various ratchets in the legs can fail over time too. On top of that, he has a lot of sprue marks/mould flash out of the box on most copies, and some people have had scratched parts/paint as well.
