So the final two limbs have pre-orders up. Any word on extra parts to help fix the issues with Onslaught?

Stellar work as always, you’re planning making adapters to use Zeta Onslaught as a core with the UT limbs as well, correct?

Not sure if I'm picking them up but I can make something based off measurements. It'llbe much easier connecting UT arms to Zeta than it is Zeta to UT.

It's okay though, no one has ever claimed the Zeta bots looked better. (They don't!) It was a discussion around combined mode size scaling. Pezley may have gotten confused.

Oh, so this chart...the colored up chart that was originally Uncolored and used by the animators that was a reference they never followed consistently...is now your proof there is an exact scale? And because some fan cut and pasted a bunch of stuff onto this chart and that c&p job includes Devy...that is your proof that your beloved TW Devy is perfect and anything and anyone on who doesn’t adhere to that...including the original cartoon...is wrong.

Gotcha. You totally ended that debate.

Oh, and as far as being around when Sideswipe was released? I was collecting TFs long before you were an itch in your momma’s pants.

Will these parts be painted eventually? I don’t care about the height they add but I like the bulk they add.

It's amazing how much of a difference that little boost in size can make! Count me in when you have the finished adapters :)

    Wow.

You must be old if that last sentence is true, explains the cantankerous attitude. Well seeing as you were collecting Transformers before they were even released in the mid 70s then one would have thought you'd have known the difference between a Takara mp12 pre-release display at Yamashiroya in Ueno and something a fan would have cut. I'm giving you plain facts here, like it or leave it but at your age I'd becareful of that blood pressure.

And if you don't believe they're facts:

Masterpiece Sideswipe (Lambor) Display at Yamashiroya in Ueno, Japan - Transformers News - TFW2005

I particularly like the bit that says Hasui uses the charts to achieve a sense of scale. Enjoy :)

As to the add on parts and paint it'll have to be done by the end user as Shapeways don't print in full colour yet I don't think. Could be wrong. Once I finalise colours I'll add the details to the Shapeways page.

The official animation models and charts have been put together into books by Jim Sorenson. https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Transformers-Ark-Jim-Sorenson/dp/1600104886

And yes they do include devy. Its not just fans c&p devy, it’s only official stuff. Volume 2 of the books for the Japan’s headmasters has a similar chart, because you don’t just hire a studio to draw a cartoon with out animation models and charts. This ebay listing happens to show a page illustrating this.

Transformers: The Ark : A Complete Compendium of Character Designs by Jim Sorenson (2007, Paperback) | eBay

    9A673CCC-6B24-47A6-9674-2BB6623B7B77.png

Also it does seem like they were in a hurry to draw the cartoon since they had multiple studios drawing them. Which is all the more need for a official scale and another reason for variation.

Unknown Generation 1 animation studios - Transformers Wiki

No one is saying you can’t like what you like. If you like it, it’s right for you.

But to keep insisting that there is not an official scale for the g1 cartoon and that official scale isnt what the masterpiece toyline started on is an incorrect statement.

Not that we know. I hope so though but I'm doubting they'll fix all the problematic joints if they do put out replacement parts at all.
Okay, it's time to end this. You've officially made this discussion childish and pathetic.
I thought they were "tacky and unprofessional"? You turned face on that pretty quickly.
Last I checked, there are a few solid colours they do them in now (other than the normal black and white choices). Actually, I just checked because I couldn't remember the colours. Here are the options for solid colours: white (normal/polished/premium), black (normal/premium), and polished versions of the following colours: pink, green, red, orange, yellow, blue, purple.
The only full-colour option is sandstone, which is obviously not ideal for these parts, so if people want added details other than a solid colour, they will indeed need to paint them.

I legitimately hate people who pull age as some kind of rank. We're all adults here. It seems only some of us are acting like it, though.

That aside, I apologise that I misquoted someone else as you. Even so, your other comment was still extremely childish.
