I've got some pre-weathered mecha coming in to pose next to Prime, so went to town on him so he wouldn't look out of place all shiny and new.

 

Hello! Just got back into collecting Transformers and i have a question : Anyone can confirm if the Mr.Bucket MR01A Weapon upgrade kit for Movie Optimus Prime is compatible with the Wei Jiang Evasion Mode Optimus? It seems to fit many models, just not sure about this one and i can't find the info.

I just want to switch the hands to fully articulated ones. Bought the custom hands for my Rendsora and i love them.

 

I like those Rendsora hands, but I backed off, they are quite expensive, especially when you take in consideration Rendsora price.

Yeah they're almost the same price as Rendsora lol, but they made a big difference. Now if they could release an updated head with the mask option...

 

I just used the UFO silver hands for the Takara leader class RotF optimus. I took out the original hands and used the post from the UFO hands ( had to do some modding) to snap them in place. the UFO hands work great I hope that this helps...

Scale dont matter with Commander. Thats the only movie Prime you ever need to get.

I had to unscrew the forearm halves, hollow out the plastitc to make room for the UFO post/ball socket, detail with some paint, screw forearm halves back together, and snap the new hands on the ball socket

 

I will let you know! If it doesn't, I will have to move the UFO post/ball socket over to the middle of his wrist. The original hand posts are on the back part of the hand, the UFO ones are on the inside part of the hand. May have to re-mod it move the post over or just pop the hands off when transforming

 

Oh well guys.. The UFO hands are to thick to leave on while transformed. I tried this morning but the knuckle duster gimmick on the back of the hands takes up much of the space needed to close the panel over the transformed hand. but, you can still pop them off like the G1 optimus and store them inside the same cavity, just not connected..FYI!

 

Just picked up another clean Commander destined for a G1 deco.

 

I've been debating posting Rendsora. Is he still available out there?

 

Just thought i'd mention that there are 3 versions of the UFO type hands - one with knuckledusters, one without (that is smaller) and one with them that flip out.

The no-knuckle duster versions are best used on a Leaderclass Prime if you want to be able to change modes as they still allow him to Transform without removing the hands. So those ones might fit better on Commander too.

Also don't forget there is other options out there including Gundam hands.
