I'm not into Drift or Tarn enough to go out of my way to buy them for the really high prices they're going for but if Flame Toys ever makes any figures of some of my favorite characters like Armada Megatron or War Within The Fallen I can see myself saving up a lot of money just to get something like that. Speaking of The Fallen how cool would that be if they actually did make a figure of him and gave him a glowing furnace effect like he had in the comics, I would love that. I know they're just focusing on IDW now but I'm just saying if they ever get to any figures that are based off favorite characters of mine then yeah I'll gladly give them my money after seeing how well they did with Drift and Tarn.

If they ever attempt the fallen I’m sure they’ll give him that glow, maybe even some flame effect parts.

First time poster here. I just got this guy in the mail. It is Ah- May-Zing! It is hands down one of the best iterations of a comic book character I have seen in a very long time, maybe even ever. The price is stupid no doubt, but what is presented here is just awesome, pictures do it no justice.
Any way my 2 cents, carry on

Sure we can go with that. Drift lends himself well to a non transforming transformer, I saw all the flak the figure was getting and wanted to just throw my opinion in there. Plus I'm on this site all the time, why not create an account.

That was my first thought as well. I would always look at threads but I could never talk about what I liked so I made an account.

Thanks guys! :D  It really is an amazing figure. I was one of those who swore to never get a non-transforming Transformer but after getting this guy im a convert. Now im all in with line and it also helps that im a big fan of Chemical Attack who designs these figures.

I say if you dig it, get it. That’s the real barrier here. People don’t like non transforming transformers but if you can look past it and see a fucking excellent figure then go ahead!

For me the physical barrier is money. :lol  I dig it, I want it, hell I want all of them, and I probably would if Drift was 150 and they went up from there, but. Egh. Just the reality of high end collecting these days I guess.

My barrier was the wife, so i asked for it for our 12th year anniversay. He sits proudly on the shelf now with Warden, Leonidas and Carnifex.

I got this guy based on a few reviews and another weird reason. I had become disillusioned with the MP line and started collecting 3P. When I asked what the best figure was a lot of people chimed in with PE's Warden. For those who don't know, Warden is effectively a high end head replacement for Fortress Maximus. It was a great figure but I had no reason to transform it. There have been a few more like that so with the reviews of Drift I gave it a shot. I think the figure is just amazing.

I'd say perfect but there's one issue I'd like to know if it's a defect and something I could potentially fix. I noticed the waist is slightly loose and will sway when holding by just the top or bottom. I couldn't find any screws but might consider getting it replaced if no one else has it. Also, mine did not come with batteries inserted even though the instructions said it should have them. Did they change their minds last minute before packing it?

where did you get it from? It should've come with batteries not installed. They come in some baggies. Yea the waist does sway a little side to side on my copy but not too much.
