I actually hope this it's commander size, honestly it scales better with Bee and ironhide than the official in both modes, in fact, that's the size i wanted in the first place for the MPM Prime, disappointing.

why not put a ball joint on the other side (in the visor), so it'd still use a hinge but the visor will use a ball joint instead of another hinge.

I don't see the point to be honest, in the sense of thinking that people would buy minor pieces for a minor details that in the end, the average people won't notice.

 

if he put the ball joint on the other side of the visor, that ball joint will be broken, unless the hinge was less tight

 

Even if the ball joint was put on the visor, the cab would have to be modified so there would be room for the visors to sit flush.
