@barry, commiserations my good man, although the experience sounded a massively positive one for future applications you might want to throw your hat in for.
Bless you Large she had a wonderful day.

    Thank you Brendan.

Good work Vandelay Henkei Hound rocks. May I suggest from esteemed robot outfitters, the Uncle Billy shop, the MX5 set. It makes a great addition and finishes his look. 2017-09-20-12-55-52.jpg

Physics, for lack of skill in anything else. Just quantum and thermodynamics to worry about at the momnent, I still have a couple of months to go till actual finals. That's when the fun begins. And then, I can treat myself with robits.

Don't know about you @Seeaich but it really really irritates me that some TOTP deluxes and more infuriatingly most Voyagers dont come with their signature weapons. It drives me doolally. Am I alone on this folks?

So I just finished LL #17. What. What?? Now I'm left on a cliffhanger for another month? That's not fair! We are *this* close to figuring everything out!

I was way into The Space Sentinels, but then all those Filmation cartoons were cool - that one, Tarzan and Batman were my absolute favourites as a nipper.

It's typical isn't it, the IDW comics ramping up so much just as they're about to finish. Optimus Prime and Lost Light this week were use about the best issues of either that I've read in a long bloody time!

He's ambitious, complex and for all the world harkens back to the best of the 2009 toy line and its offshoots. But a combination of compromised articulation, some wonky tolerances and the fact that a lot of the paint budget went to Grimlock brings him down (that one might be a touch harsh).

He just needs some of those glory days spit and polish.

    It's a good 'Hmmmmm'.

Eh. While the reveal in Lost Light made me audibly gasp in astonishment, the one in Optimus Prime... Not so much.

Did we need to have Shockwave back? Things were going fine without him. While I wasn't much of a fan of Dark Cybertron it did at least give Shockwave a good and meaningful death.

Except whoops no it didn't! Not only did he survive but the importance of his death is utterly forgotten. Not only that but crowbaring him into the entirety of Cybertron's early history makes everything feel so small. Now practically everything that's ever happened is Shockwave's fault, and the enigmatic Onyx Prime, as well as his motivations, are written out of existence.

Shockwave isn't even very interesting as a villain. You know what would have been a good revelation? Thunderwing.

It's up there with unnecessarily hollowed out bits as one of the things I dislike about main line TF's.

With 3rd parties, 3D printing & old weapons being compatible we do have far greater options nowadays but many of those can be on the pricey side and it doesn't excuse HasTak's cheapness.

Oooo to tfwiki! Are they the same sort of scale as micromasters?

I'm really worried the Grand Architect will also them out to be shockwave. That would be disappointing

    Oh! There's so many!

Yep pretty much the same size. There’s more listed at my website: https://www.tinytfs.com/ though I really do need to do some updates on there soon...

I'm willing to let it slide if we get at least one because it's inevitably gonna get remedied but nothing but feet like the Grimster does niggle, especially when Screamer gets his null rays. Also that handgun all the artwork for Max, including the box he came in, had in his hand made me seriously side-eye Ol' Hasbro.
Thank goodness for PE whose gun, despite my initial impressions, turned out to be the ideal update over the rather titchy Heisenberg more slavishly G1 version (that it turns out can't attach to the tower in Battlestation mode properly because it's fancy slide-out peg spins like a top and can't support the weight)!

    @Imperator With you on that
No matter the intricacy of the continuity patching, when that's mostly what it is it does seem lesser, smaller as you say. Especially when the tapestry you're weaving is about to be unravelled. Plus it does seem rather myopic for a tactical genius like Shockwave to have 8 million years to plan, who then decides to make sure everything plays out exactly as it did rather than attempt to steer events differently. Like at least have him make an attempt, only to perhaps to find that the "difference" he made to history turns out to be a misreported event that does match the history so he logically surmises he's on a locked course and adjusts accordingly.

How is City Commander? I've been tentatively eyeing him as I like the aesthetic a lot. Also giving Citizen Stack some thought over MP Magnus as I prefer his look.
