Nothin' to hook me on the pre-orders front there, Outback can wait for me, nor anything to bundle with the now-available-singly Roadburn unfortunately. I suspect now is the time to save them pennies whilst awaiting the revelation of the exclusives (C'moooooooooon, Repugnus! I needs my final Monsterboi in a better scale!).

I love -really love- Swoop, Beachcomber, Hun-Gurr, Sludge or Moonracer, but there's something about the Leaders... Y'know, with the formers it's like having action figures, while the Leaders feel like actual toys. If that makes any sense. I'm over simpliying a bit here but, you know.
Like, I didn't even wanted Rodimus, but once in hands... Can't stop playing with him. Robot car merging with his trailer becoming big robot car ! Plenty of flaws, yes, true, but the playability is SO good, I don't care. So with a surfing Mecharilla ?

As per usual I shall be waiting for the Deluxes, who no doubt will appear when I'm at maximum monthly skintness.

I've put a deposit on Leader Primal because 1. It's Primal and I have to and 2. Just in case this is the one that doesn't arrive for £30odd at regular retail. Like all the previous Buggers did.

    Hey, it happens.

Bad luck, as long as you're able to use the experience from it going forwards you'll likely have no trouble getting something suitable!

POTP wave 3 = I know I want Blot, Cutthroat and Sinnertwin, but do I pre-order them when they go up or wait until TF Nation and see if I can get them there?

Currently too far behind on the comics to join in the conversation (just finished Combiner Wars) and trying to order current TF comics from the Forbidden Planet site is a nightmare (mobile version), I guess I’ll have to continue down the comiXology road :)  (I’m trying to get up to speed ready for TFN!)

    A few new additions to report;
    FBF00699-1DF4-497C-8C04-92A37C20E201.jpeg

Cybertron Starscream - I decided to replace the MIB version I sold almost a decade ago, I’m on the fence on selling my Galaxy Meteor so I thought if I like the original guy I might be more tempted to keep him, haha :D

    FBF53D28-1075-40E4-95CF-523ECD83FE7F.jpeg
Henkei Hound - Another one to tick off my TFN list, and another step closer to a satisfactory CHUG collection.

MP Ramjet - Direct from the land of ice and snow, courtesy of @Maz (cheers dude :D ) , I didn’t jump on this release when he was announced because I wasn’t that impressed by his looks, but in hand I’m amazed at how striking he is! Only Dirge left to get and I’m gonna save him for TFN!

Damn I'd be happy with a new TR figure.
So much that if Repugnus indeed happens, I'll buy Grotusque (which I should have get back then but noooo, see, I did my smart ass. Urgh, jerk).

(to be honest there's nice things in it. Starting with Sarah Stone <3
    Last issue, sadly.
And -surprisingly- I genuinely like Barber's Prowl in all this. Not as a character per say, but for what his extremism bring to the table, sociologically speaking) (still furious about Swindle though).

    Great haul !

Shipping these days is 5.99 for Europe, so that's a big help. I still need to do another order to get more heads and bits for the rest of my customs and I can't see that costing less than £50 though :S

I'll tell you something I'm super chuffed about though, I managed to score a Takara Lugnut for £30!!! O_O!!!!!

I totally missed my first anniversary as a Transformers collector - the 6th of April - so this is a slightly belated post showing how I started:

Not bad going for a year eh? :D

The Sixshot guns are £20.56 for the two, the Overlord gun I'd like is £13.62 and the shipping and VAT makes the final total just over £45 which for 3 guns is madness.

Better news on the weapon front is that tf-robot.nl also have the Dr Wu set for Sixshot in stock so I'll order one from there as the ones I saw on ebay are from Chinese sellers with some negative feedback for not sending stuff.

Which Lugnut have you just got, the Animated one or the Takara version of the one that was released in one of the Classics lines?

A couple of recent acquisitions. Well, the dianauts aren't new, but I've not photo'd them before. Not really my style I think, but they scale alright with smaller jetformers at least.

Starscream I don't want. But I would like Thundercracker in this mould, and as it's not likely to happen any time soon I picked up a Screamer in case I pluck up the guts to paint him up in blue. I don't even know what kind of paint to get, or if there's anything special to do to the plastic first, or pretty much anything.

The explosions are Tamashii Nations effects. Almost certainly knockoffs as they were suspiciously cheap and had no packaging whatsoever. I almost expected the box to have a couple of pebbles inside, or a live snake or something, but the explosions were fine. I've seen photos where they seem to be stacked up together as if they combine in some way, and while they have little ports on the underside I can't find any use for them. Any ideas anyone?

In case anyone is of a mind to care I'll answer my own Question about The Entertainer policy on returns/refunds/broken or faulty toys.

They sent me a replacement (didn't ask) for my busted bumblebee - ironically that one was broken as well in another spot - so I'll have to get the screw driver out and juggle some parts later. I suppose I can put some filler on the broken parts and spray the whole thing black and make a Black Bumblebee out of the broken one.

Are the little ports Flight stand peg size? Could it be the combined version needs an extra bit like a multi-prong flight stand head? Does such a thing exist? I'm not well versed in flight stands and their accoutrements.

It's the Takara one. I've already got the HTFD one, which I love, but it was the Takara colourscheme that Lugnut had in his two panel no dialogue MTMTE appearance so I must have that one also. :D

Worked it out. One of them has a hole for a flight stand on the inside as well, and using that you can sort of stack them. And combined with a bit of lighting...
