At the thrift store that I usually go to to check out various things (used to be TFs but their stuff is either broken and/or colored over like an art project), but I was alerted by the owner (who I am very friendly with) that some kid's stuff was dropped off recently. It was a goldmine compared to the usual. Mostly DotM and that era's CHUG stuff, but that's a good thing to me. Complete Kup, Blurr, Ultimate Optimus and Thunderwing were some of the best ones that I already had. I got a DotM Roadbuster, fuckin' Sky Shadow (old Deluxe, but still!), DotM Mudflap (a defective version?), and Murderbee, also all complete. Three outta four are outstanding. I also found not one, but two Burger King RotF Optimuses, to which I will add to my one, and have the Legion of Primes, perhaps led by the Studio Series one. And all of that for a 17$ total was awesome. Love that place.

 

Picked up PotP Swoop/Strafe at the Walgreens nearest my office. A slight separation from one corner of the plastic from the card, otherwise no issues. Still have to track down Snarl and Sludge.

The local TF collectors had a meet-up today and I kinda made out like a bandit. Got way more Bayverse stuff than I thought and won the raffle for the door prize, Iron Factory Red Tyrant's Wings, PotP Starscream, Evasion Optimus and a loose Mindwipe. Ironically I myself donated Optimus, I had just bought Mindwipe and Skystalker minutes before the draw, and I've had PotP SS for weeks.    I was also avoiding all IF Seekers aside from Acid Storm so as not to get caught up in the BAF business, but I was offered the Fangs of Tyranny set at a price I couldn't turn down. Guess who'll be looking for Wings Blue and Black now.   Besides all that I got DotM Voyager Megatron W/shotgun, DotM Deluxe Thundercracker, DotM Voyager Shockwave, Cyberverse Shockwave, G1 Kickback, G1 Beachcomber, a replacement G1 Gunrunner turret, and the sword and shield from BH Ultimate Class Optimus (for PotP Volcanicus). And I sold my extra MISB TR Arcee so I'm only out of pocket $40 for all. 

Edit: Cripes, I got even more than I thought. Totally forgot that the raffle also contained Capticon, and I bought the white Universe Powerglide, now repurposed as Hothouse. Just need the black one now. Pre-birthday haul by DesertDog76, on Flickr
