Last year the dude had a bunch pics and a doctored receipt. This might be the same pic, I haven't checked.

 

Just call mine the 5 stores near me and either they didn't want to look or had no idea what a giant boxed gray and purple t-rex looks like.

The ollies by me HAS had mismarked prices before..but suspiciously enough...the 12.99 is what they charge for the same rescue bots small playset. Either an employee mismarked it, or someone switched tags.

I've Been a long time member on Sideshowcollectors for many years, not some random troll that showed up here to make people go on a wild goose chase. Posted a pic of the item in store, the exact store location it was found, and a clear pic of my receipt (want a scan? let me know). You can believe I'm full of shit and it was a hoax, but I'm 35 years old and have better things to do than nonsense like that online. Perhaps someone did switch the sticker in store, I dunno.

Although I think en employee using the wrong Transfomers tag would be more plausible, as the sticker is mint on the box with no damage to any of the edges or anything like that. Would also make me wonder what exact Transformers item they would be selling for that much though.

For what it's worth, some of the Comic hardcovers have a cover price of 49.99, and they're selling them for 6.99. So unbelievably deep discounts aren't unprecedented at the store.

 

Wish I was in the USA , I would pick up everyone I found and pass them out at Christmas time

 

You've been a member here for a month. You have zero credibility. And Graphic Novels are frequently blown out for pennies on the dollar. The selection at Ollies had already been through numerous tiered clearances at Diamond. There's a reason they're so cheap.

Regarding Trypticon, there were two pictures posted. Are these of the same item?

 

One was mine at the store then a closer shot of the price tag at home.

 

Also, maybe this is a factor I don't know, but this location just opened this past February. Could be they just got them first and hopefully they'll show everywhere soon.

Animal Mother, don't listen to these bozos. It is par for the course to have jealous whiners complain that a great deal someone found is a "fake." They've never been proven right before, they are always proven wrong. And to the person who said this shouldn't be front-paged, try to loosen the nerd wedgie in your butt. The mere fact that this was found at Ollie's is EXTREMELY useful information. The fact that someone can't see that is simply astonishing and absurd.

 

And if no one ever reports finding another one you'll retract this, yeah?

Appreciate it man. I live in Tallahassee and this location is over 2 hours away from me otherwise I would have been happy to go back today and check it out again for everyone. I know what it's like to read about a really great deal online but coming up empty. I went to multiple Ross' everyday for a month during the holidays when someone found a Mafex Batfleck figure for $20. Never did find that Batman and probably spent more than the original retail in gas trying to find it   I can see being skeptical if I was being vague, but at this point I'm not sure what more proof I could offer.

 

Man I want one for that price
