right? i don't need a bunch of extra hinges or connectors just so they can market a half-transformed robot as another mode. most fan modes are bad enough, but then they made them official

 

I don't mind Blaster...but Soundwave just looks incomplete to me in his alt mode.

 

It's shame that we've less action figures like in the 80's and 90's in these days.

 

We should totally have more crossover figures. I want Stardrive with a Rom Titan Master!

 

I would've prefered if the entirety of the Prime Wars trilogy was about combiners. Boot out those titan masters from TR and give me more combining bots!

 

keep in mind the prime you're handling also had four tabs clipped by the original owner to fix those minor qc issues.

I may have bought about that many ever... but returned every damn open of them eventually except 2 Dinobots just because I have a Dinobot Island I am filling out with any Robot Dino I can find.

preach it. I'm open to anything fun and they are just pointless and to make matters worse they complicate and cock block the already horrendous distribution problem out where I live. There's some movie tax write off benefit to sending mountains of that shit out into the rural/ country areas to rot on shelves there just has to be... I can see no other reason why there is just ALWAYS SO MUCH OF IT piled up every time I try to go find the good Transformers... which I cant.

 

So then the unpopular opinion here is that I love the Bayformer aesthetic, the Bayverse has to be my second favorite incarnation of the TFs. I'm one of the few that loves the movies with Age of Extinction and The Last Knight being my favorites in the series. The toylines for each are also my favorite movie lines with Revenge of the Fallen being my least favorite, way to complicated IMO which is why I was happy starting with Fall of Cybertron that they started to simplify the transformations and made TFs a lot more fun to handle. And as sad as I am to see it coming to end after the BB movie I am hopeful that the next time we see them on the big screen its in a way that all Transformers fans can enjoy and so that Transformers can also become less of a joke in cinema.

 

Bayverse > CHUG

 

Cybertronian Alt Modes are just lazy and should not be included in any line.

 

If you cut or use some pieces of paper or any material, made 5mm ports and two hinges for it, some CHUG fans would say it is the funniest toy ever.

 

We need a fresh G1 Drift to give a chance to those who've missed CHUG one.

If you just glue a bunch of random bot parts together and paint the whole thing silver, you would have the next Bayverse villain.

 

While I like all kinds of tf aesthetics, Bayverse dinobots pretty much destroyed most of G1 dinobots for me. The only ones I like are Slash and the two FP femme dinobots, all the rest just feel incredibly boring compared to the Bayverse designs. Toy designs, I mean, I actually like them in colour. That's why I haven't gotten any PotP or MFT dinobots yet, the voyager oskos by wei jiang plus official voyagers of Bayverse dinobots just crush them design-wise. Can't wait to get studio Grimlock.
