Hopefully the Bumblebee movie is aimed at families and young children. They need a Transformers movie aimed at them.

I hope we see Cogman, Bulldog, Sir Edmund Burton, and Hotrod in this.

Remember the time when the live action movie tie in comics FIXING the inconsistencies and plot holes made by Michael Bay?
They even give a background story to Sector 7. They even put a story to a non-movie but good looking movie toy Wreckage (I still have it). They even make stories between movie Optimus, Megatron and Sentinel during the Cybertronian War.

Too bad no tie-in comics prior AOE and TLF.

Well, to be fair we don't know that he'll actually be killing anyone in the comic.

I do agree that the WW2 scene in TLK raises some interesting questions. I don't think we actually see Bee shoot anyone, but it was kind of implied though dialog that he was pretty violent. I suppose we could assume he's just intimidating them and letting the human soldiers do the killing. Or it could just be that Burton was exaggerating the story, lol. My interpretation of the scene was that the flashback we see is just Cade's fantasy based on Burton's description, but I don't know if this was the intention.

For me all TLK is Cade's fantasy or dream. Too many errors and feeling, that every character acts strangely, not in alignment with previous films. That's like, if I suddenly would start to enjoy pop-music and use cosmetics.:mad

Neither of those would be around by the time this comic is set. (1960's probably).

Bay's not directing it and he's being rather hands off on producing, so the ban is lifted. It only applies to what he was directing because of what happened with DOTM.

    1. It's a prequel to the prequel, so it doesn't impact spoilers of the movie anyway.

    2. This fits to it, as it is developing from the TLK WWII era Bumblebee story the writer's room came up with(which seemingly has a full long area of Bumblebee stories that are open to tell from where TLK hinted at the WWII era, and then long amount of time until Charlie's story in the 80s). Potentially developing it further. But also keep in mind, the comics and the films don't always line up. Comic continuity and stories are Tie-ins/promotional material. Does not mean the material will hold to the films itself. This is pretty common to all comic to movie material. Same as the previous prequel novels and comics aren't in continuity to this or the films either. Marketing may say otherwise, but as a general rule, print media is print media, film is film. It's not film continuity unless it's mentioned in the films themselves. It's something to enjoy to build hype and excitement for the movie itself.

Marvel movies are same way Logan with no sabertooth or mention of him who is at that location in Canada where kids go to, wolverine origins deadpool and gambit blob, fantastic four galactus as cloud, xmen movie series with plot holes countless Spider-Man reboots,

Yeah but only people who will read those comics are transformers fans and comic book fans my cousin he loves transformers movies but he does NOT READ COMICS

then we be hearinging from uotight fans movies are not violent enough and more child like humor like Thor 3 had with child like humor

I can name other movies with plot holes xmen movie series, blade 3, wolverine origins, terminator, alien movie series, Friday 13 series, Halloween series, nightmare on elm street series, Thor 3 heavy on comedy, let me know if you want me to name more movies to add to the list these are movies MICHAEL BAY had no involvement with

TLK continuity wreck shouldn't be propagated in any form.

    Reboot it already.

Considering all of the art in Burton's room, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if a reference to Austin Powers and/or Monty Python is dropped even if the dates EXPLICITLY don't line up.

How else can we confidently confirm whether or not Bee met Burton when he was a little boy in short pants, perhaps yay-tall, maybe shorter, maybe taller, then?

Regarding the movie itself, am I the only one who things it would be a good thing if it failed? I mean if it fails it might make Hasbro/Paramount reconsider how much BB they are going to use in the future and think about bringing in new characters.

Oh man, you're right. However, John Barber's on this beast, and while I haven't read them, I hear he fixed almost every continuity problem with the original trilogy, imagine what magic he'll do with a post-TLK world?

Maybe he'll write that Burton has future vision, and also somehow predicted the rise of the phrase "Shag-liscous"?

I wish him the best of luck then. He's attempting to salvage the un-salvageable. My theory before the movie came out was that Burton faked it all to up his cred, but the film says otherwise. I'm curious as to how this war will turn out.

It sounds like a James Bond homage! I'm really looking forward to this comic, it seems like a very different premise than most Transformers media.
